Managed an NSD today, which I thought was number 9. But having checked the front page (and my previous posts) it seems it was #10

  • Not been the best of weeks, tbh. Thanks, yes I do know that, I think I'd got past the ranting stage though:mad:, but all's calm again now in spoonworld:D I'm intending to have a very relaxing weekend with plenty of nice white wine to ease me through it:D

Hope you're sitting with your feet up & that large glass of wine :D

Unlike you with more DIY on the horizon - what are you planning to demolish this weekend?

Just pulling the door frames out, but that's done now, it seems a bit strange looking straight from the toilet to the landing  good job i live alone!! (& definitely an incentive to get the new wall & door in!)

PS: and don't forget I have a list for you if you get bored anytime:D

I'm packing my hammer as we speak, just send the tardis for me when you are ready :rotfl:
Number 14 today, clearly too busy destroying things in my house to spend money :)
More of the same tomorrow as a major clean up & a very large pile of ironing is on the cards

NSD 7, I will probably have another one tomorrow but I will report then.

Also, could I change the target to 10 NSD? Not only I started the challenge way in the 2nd week of January but I think it was not realistic for a first attempt, considering I had no clue how much I was spending and how often. Now I have cut back all my expenses, so even if I have not reached my target it has been a success, since I have spent much less. :j I am going to change it because I need to make small steps and see some progress. Thanks!!

    Hello lovely NSD-ers:A

Just a quick catch up tonight. All the totals are updated on the front page now, well done to everyone acquiring NSDS today and and especially huge WELL DONE for more targets tumbling today:j:j:j

jinty - hope His Lordship has got over his huff, though I can't say I blame him really, the poodle look isn't that brilliant on a Persian:(. Hope you enjoyed your lunch today with M&D:A

LittleMissHappy - hope you enjoyed your takeaway with your friends and that the 40th birthday celebrations went well:)

Tropicalmoments - errr... I think you might be eating pork for the rest of the year, hope you like it. The trotters and head are supposed to be very tasty.. can't say they've ever really appealed to me:eek:

The Dragon - ouch.. sounds painful, what have you done?

martafdz - target reduced now, small steps and achieving them is much better than large steps and not getting there, I agree. You're doing brilliantly:T:T

kerri - buy the dress, you know you want to really.....

BDINI - very large glass of wine, thanks, and enjoyed it (and the second one as well:D), easing me through the weekend nicely:)
I think you better get that new wall and door done asap, you never know when you'll be having visitors and an open plan loo isn't the best idea in the world:eek: . Seriously, you're doing brilliantly, you've made huge progress in the last few months, well done you:T:T:T
Tardis is primed and ready to go, just waiting for you to finish your house first:D:D

Back tomorrow for another roundup, the February thread should be up and running tomorrow, fingers crossed.

    'night everyone
    spoon xx

jinty - forgot to say about your poor kitty - isn't it amazing how cats can sulk - though i imagine all the other cats will be pointing and laughing at him for a little bit :embarasse

NSD today so I think that was no 25.
Havent been out other than popping to my friends for a wee coffee from her posh coffee maker

Beanie - that's a brilliant total - I am in awe of you!
    Kerri - buy the frock!

    Good morning all!

Got another NSD in the bag yesterday - #18, so very pleased with that. Really enjoyed our lunch yesterday, ended up a family affair with my sis, BIL and niece joining the party. OH really enjoyed it and I think it helped him to get out for a bit and have a chat.
Other than that we just went for a walk with doglet and spent the rest of the day reading my book.
Today I am just going to watch Andy Murray this morning ( C'mon Andy!) and after that I have no plans as yet.
I am going back to work tomorrow, MIL funeral is not till Thursday ( a very long wait, IMO) so I will just work Mon- Wed as normal.
I cope better if I am in a routine and to tell the truth, I need a bit of diversion so I will be quite glad to go into the office.

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

I've not been able to get on and read all the missed posts since Tuesday or Wednesday, I can't remember which. Work is so manic at the mo I can't really recall what day is what. I should be doing my marking at the mo but here I am.

Tuesday i went to salsa, so a nsd wasn't on the cards
Wednesday I took my daughter out for a pizza we've not done that for ages
Thursday I gave in and bought my grandson sweeties, and me too :o
    Friday did the grocery shop
Saturday did the fruit and veg shop
I'm not intending to go out today and I'm pretty sure today will be spend free. which will mean target met 15/15

Have a good one all mwah

Well after reaching target number 2 I've done nothing but spend :( Friday saw me getting the top up shop and yesterday saw me getting the butter I had forgotten  even more annoying was that I had no idea I needed it until yeterday morning when I was making toast!!! Decided as it was already a spendy day I would stock up on a certain brand of baby wipes (I find they are great for all sorts - even with no-one in nappies) on offer at a local chemist for 99p per pack! Great offer as they are normaly about £2.49 a pack and are the only ones I can use on DS sensitive skin - got 5 packs :D.
Today [STRIKE]should[/STRIKE] will be a NSD as the only thing I need to pay for is my zumba class which I havent been to since start of Dec :o. When I started this challenge I decided that my DD & gym were the only things I wouldnt include.....................
Not sure about tomorrow - I'd like to think that it will be a NSD but its chance one of the week to check out the woopsies at work. Oh forgot to come back which my desicion the other day. I have decided that I will allow myself £5 a week (taken out on a spendy day - so next weeks was put aside yesterday) for woopsies if I dont need anything on offer then great but if I decide I'd like some I will keep my NSD's intact so long as I dont go over the fiver. Hope this seems reasonable to everyone but if anyone feels its cheating please let me know :). I may find the same as Cheryl and that it isnt actually neccessary but will give it a go for a week or 2 until I see how it goes.

Wow just realised what a ramble this all is this morning :rotfl:. Will be thinking today about Feb's target, was going to up it as I know I can do better than this month but thinking about it just now it could be a bit of a spendy month getting the last bits and pieces sorted for our holiday in March..............hmmmmm going to require some more thought ;)

Don't forget that next month has 3 days less in it - so even keeping targets the same will make it harder work, as we'll have to spend on 3 fewer days !!
