Up to 19 nsd. Would have been 20 but thought it might be a good idea to buy some food.:).
Maybe I'll reach target tomoorow as I don't usually go any where on a Sunday.
Tropicalmoments, could you have rendered the fat down and kept it in the fridge? The birds might like some of it,but if you have wolves...........:rotfl:ilovetea xxMake £2024 in 2024 £1161.08

8 out of ten for me so far, hoping to get to my 10 NSD if i dont buy anything tomorrow or Tues but even so Im pleased as it has stopped me totally from impulse buying, all the days when I hoped not to spend have been essentials, milk etc and no extra fripperies either so a happy Jane!Member 1145 Sealed Pot Challenge No4

Lots of targets met and smashed this month, well done everyone! :T:T
I have picked up NSD no 18 today :j
I should manage 19 tomorrow too. I'm thinking of delaying the shopping until Tuesday, thus squeezing another NSD into January. Really pleased with this month spend-wise...the GC target was £400...could be keeping it under £300 at this rate!!!
Not decided what to go for in Feb....think I'll go for 16 and we'll see how it all goes. DS2 turns 18 at the end of the month (pressie already ordered and on its way from the US). Then there's 1/2 term and possibly a rugby camp in Leeds to take DS to (& stay?). So plenty of planning required!!
Going to need to stock-take the freezer again and make more meal plans...will be fun this month as we are gradually going to be reducing our grain intake (ie flour, cereals etc :eek:). DS wants to try out this Paleo Diet (Primal Blueprint - caveman diet)..and I thought we may as well go along with him for a bit. If it helps him reduce the amount of insulin he's taking, then it's worth a go...and if I can shift some of the many excess pounds I am carrying, then great!!!
Still no stitching this weekend/month, but determined to get some done tomorrow...been tidying and junking loads of stuff today...the place is starting to look a bit better...at long last! :rotfl:

Well I managed it.... NSD#13 for me today
Not sure if I will manage my target of 14, but it is my second target this month so I'm quite pleased with how I've done for my first attempt:p
I am impressed with some of the numbers others of you here are managing!! I can't ever imagine me not spending anything for 20 or more days in the month, but I suppose it depends how we all count them. Well done everyone :TSave £12k in 2021: Jan £1834.40, Feb £1692.810 -
No 16 NSD for me -wow I'm really amazing myself. I was going to shop for a few bits of food yesterday but it was so cold when I left work that I came straight home and made a yummy stir fry out of bits and bobs of veg lurking in the fridge and some prawns I found in freezer. Using rest of prawns and more veg to make curry tonight - very mse:)DeeBee0

Well I was *this* close to a NSD today, only to be scuppered at the last min. Braved Mr A to do the main food shop (not actually sure when we last did a big shop, seems a while ago, like before Xmas but I seem to recall we did do a top up too, which came to £50  but OH did get two jumpers in that), anyway, I digress. Got the shopping spending more than I normally plan, £110 :eek: aside from a bit of a top up though, that should see us through to next pay day (which prob brings our grocery billy to £200 a month between two of us, which is ok - isn't it? :undecided) got so many tins that I'm almost worried the cupboard will fall off the wall (OH likes spaghetti hoops, and that 'orrible tinned macaroni _pale_) plus some bits for the freezer which I didn't have any trouble putting away, which shows how low our freezer was.
Anyway, thought I had got everything, no 1% milk but guessed we had enough...until I got home and found we were nearly out  had to pop up to the shop to get a new 4pt for £1 of their 1% (which is a good deal) but had to open the old purse to get the £1 out...and there goes my NSD :wall:
Still looking at the dress on ebay - and no answer from the seller about sizes - grrr. IF I bought 2, they would still be marginally around the cost of the one in the shop, so I could in theory sell one and not lose out overall - assuming either of the two sizes fit! oh, what to do...sometimes I really do have an obsessive personalityFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Gracious me. This is going to the wire. I've been invited out to lunch and cinema tomorrow which leaves me only Monday to get my 1 remaining NSD then I've met my target.
I don't think I need to buy anything Monday so hopefully I can do it..:o0 -
Hello
Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Yesterday was NSD 9 for me. I've no plans to spend anything tomorrow so I should have no trouble reaching my target.
