All i have to do now is keep my head down & look forward to my new job while i wait for my references & criminal record check to come through
Sounds like you're week's not been to great either, really hope that you know we are all here if you need a rant & that you treat yourself to a chilled out weekend with plenty of you time!!
Fingers crossed your references etc come through quickly and you can move on.
Not been the best of weeks, tbh. Thanks, yes I do know that, I think I'd got past the ranting stage though:mad:, but all's calm again now in spoonworld:D I'm intending to have a very relaxing weekend with plenty of nice white wine to ease me through it:Dbutdoineedit? wrote: »No NSD for me today, managed to avoid the grocery shopping as planned, but had a desperate need for black bags so i can finish off some DIY this weekend & have to confess to a bar of chocolate as well, but figured i was allowed a little celebration & at £1 it was much less than the massive shopping sprees i used to have to celebrate (or commiserate, or because i had woken up, or finished work..... you get the picture :rotfl:)
Unlike you with more DIY on the horizon - what are you planning to demolish this weekend?
You're definitely allowed a little (or, actually, a big) celebration:T:T
Take care

PS: and don't forget I have a list for you if you get bored anytime:DThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Jinty - £80 for a kitty fur cut  that's more than my colour, cut and blow dry costs! :rotfl:solventsoon wrote: »jinty - £80 for a cat hair cut ... Hope His Lordship is pleased with his new look. Hope you enjoyed your breakfast and glad OH is coping atm, (((((hugs))))) to you both.:A

I know its a very  about the price of a cat hair cut, but the vet has to sedate him and its this bit that takes up the majority of the cost. In my defence, m'lud, he only needs done once every 18 mths as I try to keep on top of it myself. However, His Lordship is in the huff as they've given him a really bad do. Instead of combing out the matted bits, theyve shaved him and he looks a bit like a poodle - Im not best pleased but its done now and it WILL grow back;)

Good morning all!
Just been reading through the posts and my, havent we done well this month? Lots of brilliant targets met/ beaten/ smashed - I think we should all be well chuffed with ourselves!
Today should be a NSD. No plans to buy anything and we are going out for lunch with M&D. They are treating us - how nice is that?
OH's personal hairdresser is coming this morning to attend to his coiffe - only £7.50 for him as opposed to the £80 for the cat - it truly is a mad world!:rotfl:
Anyhoo - enough rambling from me
Have a lovely day everyone:)

Hmmm.... only 3 days to go until the end of the month and I want 2 more NSDs
Need a couple of things that I hadn't realised we were short on (butter etc) so am thinking I might be 'too busy' to go into town, and DH will have to go instead!!
To be fair, I am working this morning and then have to take DS for his tennis lesson this afternoon, so I AM busy, honest guv'Save £12k in 2021: Jan £1834.40, Feb £1692.810 -
