Unfortunately I've not taken to knitting & have always preferred crochet, but I was interested in the frames I saw being demonstrated on a shopping channel this week. They seem to work a bit like french knitting from what I can tell & I'm thinking it may be kinder on my hands than having the yarn constantly dragging through my fingers.
Sorry, the link doesn't seem to work mumma...I used to do my own version of crochet...drove the teachers mad, especially when the resulting creations were fine :). I tried to get back into it again last year, but my tension was far too tight, and I can't get on with it at all...can't even remember my old method either!! So concentrating on knitting, x-stitching and sewing...that's enough, along with everthing else that I do! :D:D

Thankfully my sinusitis has eased now, so I can wear my glasses for a reasonable time before having to remove them...you never know...I may get some x-stitching done this weekend! :o

Declaring today as NSD no 17...so have reached my first target :j:j:j

    Spoon
, can I revise my new target to be 19 please...should be able to pick up 2 days out of the next three...at least, that is the plan! :D:D

Have a great (if chilly!) day everyone. x

  • Hi,

Yesterday was an unexpected NSD taking me up to 10/15
    Em
  • Loving all the wiggles!!

Spoon - glad you're feeling better.

I've had a spendy day and bought lunch and a cake - I can't believe how expensive our refectory is now and I won't be buying again from them - unless it's an emergency. At least I don't have to cook tonight though so I plan a relaxing and early night with the laptop and my book.

    Wishing everyone a nice evening.

  • I am very happy to report that I have NSD 18 in the bag :D I will be spending tomorrow as we have friends coming over for a take away and I have ordered a present for my niece that will be paid for tomorrow. Sunday and Monday could be NSD's, but don't want to set a new target, so I will stick to 18 but think I will get at least 1 more. Really pleased with my first attempt...
