Managed 19 on Friday, even though I went to a gig. I was there with the person I support at my second job, so I didn't have to pay to get in. A night out and being paid to be there - a very satisfying NSD! :)

Saturday was 20 as I only had 4 hours off between shifts and was mostly sleeping for them!

Target number two reached! :j I'm hoping I might get number 21 tomorrow! I'm pretty chuffed as I've been doing NSDs since February and this is the highest I've ever managed - in January too!

Today I went to visit my friend. We worked out we hadn't seen her since October :o. We only worked it out as baby is 9 months and has just learned to pull himself up to standing and I knew he wasn't crawling the last time I visited; he was flipping himself over and doing the seal impersonation :rotfl:.

None of us are sure where the time went! (Oh, my point there was I spent money on cupcakes. Mmmmmmmm! I was going to bake a cake yesterday but slept instead!)

  • Hello everyone, just a quick pop-in to declare No 12!

Finally managed to reach my target :j(thank goodness as about out of time).

Have to think about the best way to move forward with this - I excluded direct debit days from bank (as spread out over month) but included everything else.... think I may exclude petrol and main shop each week (as basically have to get them) but not sure if this is the right way to go about this........ will ponder tomorrow.

    Have a good week everyone!

  • Hello lovely NSD-ers :D

Today is my 19th NSD of the month and tomorrow definitely won't be as I am going to the pub with some friends :) So I am declaring 19 as my final total which I am very happy about as I have exceeded my 2nd target

Roll on Feb challenge - I will go for 15 for Feb please Spoon and SF as it is a short month, but I suspect I will try to beat myself ;)

Thank you everyone, all of you have made it so much easier for me to stick with this and it has really made such a difference to how I spend money......if I could I would give you all a great big hug, you are all :A x

That's what I do Lilyass- I don't count DDs as they will go out whatever I do that day! I include everything else that I spend on a card or with cash. Food and petrol is included. The food and petrol thing actually helps because if I know, for example, that I will need petrol tomorrow, I will try to put off any other spending until the same day. Mostly it works- occasionally I will find that we have run out of something unexpectedly- in which case I try to get DH to get it on the way home from work! :rotfl:
