I'm so sorry to hear about your MIL. Not surprised you're not sleeping and your skin is crp with everything you've got going on:(

I think you're probably setting yourself a very high benchmark with the Monday job and that's probably adding to your stress levels. You can't solve all of their problems single-handedly and undoubtedly they don't expect you to - the pressure is coming from you (sorry, that wasn't meant to be a lecture:o).

Hope the hospital manage to help with your skin, that's not going to help you either atm....

Take care, look after yourself and OH. We're here if you need a rant or just to let off some steam.
    spoon xx

Thanks Spoon! You're right about getting things in perspective re the job, I had a good chat with the team leader and feel much better now I know what I need to focus on. When I havent slept, I tend to blow things out of all proportion! Had a much better night last night!
(((((((((((((big hugs))))))))))) Jinty, so sorry to hear the bad news about MIL, hope you & hubby are doing ok, please take care of yourself x
Made your recipe tonight, thanks soooo much for sharing, it really was delicious!!

Well that was my night, enjoying jinty's beautiful chicken & then turning all the extra i cooked into a pasta bake for freezing in portions & tortilla wraps for the rest of the weeks lunches, so not a penny spent or a ciggie smoked :j

Thanks BDINI - glad you enjoyed the chicken, it's a handy recipe, nice and quick and tastes great!

I'm so proud of you re the cigs - keep going girl, you can do it!
You can change your initials to ICDI - icandoit!;)

Anyhoo - I got #12 yesterday and going for "unlucky for some" 13 today. Soup and rolls in bag - no spends necessary;)

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

    Morning Spoony and all

feeling pleased with myself... 7/10 achieved could have been more but the call of Diet coke and Sensations crisps after picking the kids up from school on Monday was too much!!! So wasn't a major splurge. Saying that no grocery spend.
Meeting neighbour for coffee in town this morning so have list printed from My supermarket and will get shop in for weekend. Hope not to be back in town, shopping until next tuesday!
I haven't been in a supermarket since last thursday ( a miracle in itself).

    Hope all doing well.

Today wont be an NSD im afraid...already had to pay £3 for DS school disco on Friday, and ive got the shopping arriving later this evening...but thats still within my budget for the month!!

    Have a good day everyone!

    January NSDs- 9

  • Morning all-unfortunately it's going to be a spendy day for me as I have to get club fees out the bank-no cheques as they never cash them for ages and then suddenly they pop up on my statement 3 months later-sooooo annoying! Also need bread and milk which will take me over budget slightly but as this is the first month I have ever done a budget and my shopping bill is normally £40 more (at least!) I am feeling quite good about it :-D
Hope the sun is shining where you are!

Sorry to hear about you MIL Jinty - but glad that work is working out and that you've finally got a decent sleep!

I managed to clock up NSD number 13 yesterday, and don't plan to go out nor spend today so it should be another one, but I won't count my chicks just yet.

Have a good day everyone, glad to see that the sun is still shining! sunny.gif

    Hi Spoon and NDSers

Haven't been to update for ages - but it does mean I can now declare another 5 NSDs, all 5 in a row (Fri through to Tues), which takes me to 9 in total please.

Hoped I was going to get another today but ruined with a prescription cost.

  • Sorry for not posting folks since Sunday, but all days have been spendy ones. Couldn't resist a glass of wine yesterday, and had to buy some groceries I forgot when doing the big shop last weekend.

No spend so far today, have evening meeting tonight with supper so hoping this will continue. This will take it up to 9 NSD / 10 for Jan.

Just a quick questions, re ebay. Have earnt about £150.00 in Jan so far, but spent £15.72 on postage. Should i declare these as spends for this challenge? I just feel guilty saying no spend when I have spent, but for postage that I have been paid for, if you catch my drift?

    Many thanks
