THANKS for the good wishes everyone! Yes it was a bit of a surprise, but a very nice one too! I'm going for a NSD today, the shopping is arriving from Ada (but I dont count that as already paid for and its an essential) tonight for the next 10 days and at just over £100 for 6 people I am pretty pleased with that! I know some people think that is still extravagant but with 4 hungry teenagers and both OH and I working outside every day so needing a hearty lunch Im pretty pleased. Just hoping none of the kids will spring a surprise on me on the school run and spoil my NSD plansMember 1145 Sealed Pot Challenge No4
NSD challenge not to spend anything till 2011!:rotfl:0 -
Hello and happy monday to us all.
Just popping in to say 6NSD day ..should have been 8 but had busy weekend. Takeaway on friday as the kitchen looked so clean, seemed a shame to dirty it!!!!!! Saturday had to take DD on errand to raise money for a charity and ended up buying the girls their breakfast!!! (out of my general budget for kids). All in a good cause. Been sick since saturday bit of a flu and havent been out the door since!!!
Really happy with my progress especially the amount I am spending. So all is positive if I could just have the energy to do something.
Good luck to all for the coming week."You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"C. S. Lewis

Hi everyone,
Just popping in quickly to report a NSD for yesterday. That takes me up to 5 NSDs
I had a rubbish week last week (nothing to do with S.Dad) just generally unorganised and a bit down, spent waaaay to much money waaaay too many times which didn't improve my mood one bit. Silly madam! I need a good kick up the bum! I am trying to count my blessings and pull my socks up.
I WILL be back tomorrow to report it as a NSD
Hugs to those who need/want them.
