I think it has helped massively that I've always gone back exactly when I say I will. So they know when to expect me.

As for the ordering for myself I am getting quite good at sending the things back that I don't like - feel a bit cheeky doing this though. I ordered a bottle of perfume last month because the scented page always smells lovely but when I got it I didn't like it, it didn't smell anything like the page so that went back. (It was the Secret Fantasy one by the way)

Perfumes are affected by body heat etc which is why some smell different on different people. I always suggest you rub the scented part of the page against the pulse point in your wrist, leave a couple of minutes and then smell it. Will give a more accurate idea, although not as good as a proper sample.

**Money saving tip** With Valentine's coming up, whenever you go in to a retail store with a perfume counter ask for samples as you're not sure which you want to buy for your partner ;) and do the same in the approach for Mother's Day... Have always managed to get several this way, especially if in town for the day as there are a few shops!! Great way to try them and they last me a while!
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

hi everyone, one of my customers has asked if she can order the Botanical Vital Day Cream SPF 20, I have checked C3, C4, C5 brochures but cannot see it anywhere. Does anyone know if it has been discontinued(although I can't see any of the botanical stuff) I really hope not as whenever this customer orders anything something is always either missing or out of stock. I have just got her to trust in Avon again, if it isn't in any of the brochures does anyone have any I can purchase or do you know what a good replacement would be ?
    Thanks in anticipation :j

Just put the name of the product into google and clicked on Avonshop, it says this product is no longer available !! But I can get it on Amazon for £7, does anyone have one ?

I love magix face perfector! Mostly use it on its own, but occasionally as a base. :)
I do buy for myself, but that in itself has paid dividends. I love the supershock luxe lace eyeliners, and people noticed me wearing them and I have sold loads of them. I have also sold tons of Lotus shield as I find it amazing, and because I use it myself I rescued myself from a return as my customer was using too much too often, and I was able to explain how to use it properly and it hasn't come back! I only buy on offer, and bought several Lotus shield in the 3 for £5 and have then been selling them for £4 each ;)
I am also the one who does the returning! lol some for carp products, and some I didn't like! Only one customer return! I have sold some matt nail varnishes, and am wondering if they might come back though having read comments here!!

I've never done a return for a customer because they 'just don't like it', I've only ever had faulty things back, I had the matte nail varnishes and mine got sent back - they chipped and peeled same day as applying, a lot of people said the same on connects.

Mine end up in the recycling, seems so wasteful though, as mine are always still in great condition.

Don't understand - I thought samples where just sprayed on bits of card now? Or am I missing something?
  • Hi all

I bouoght a demo of the Solutions Vibes Wake-up Eye Roller from HT and i am a bit disappointed with it. It left the areas below my eyes very sticky and i just wondered if anyone else has tried this and how they have got on with it?

Oh yikes, am ordering 8 of these hoping to push them. Do they actually work or just sticky?
