  • is now really kicking myself that i didnt knock on my next door neighbours door for her book back (seems my daughter got a wrongly dated collection one up by mistake, and she gave the book back with an order this morning, cos i back ordered with number 2s, i'm gonna loose out, hopefully she might put in a nice order for campaign 4 instead!
  • just a quick question has anyone ever tried...
magix face perfector (not the foundation just the cream one)..
    Solutions Cellu-sculpt..
Tan Boost (moisurising lotion with beta carotene)..
and the clearskin professional (deep pore cleansing scrub, clarifying toner pads, daily correcting lotion)?

could do with some opinions on these products! Thanks x

Magix is fab you only need a little bit and it makes a huge difference.

Hov is still £148 that never gets reduced.

The naturals haircare is great, smells gorgeous and great value too.

I used to buy loads when I first started, learnt not too in time lol, not I only stock up in the clearance , like my solutions facecream was in HT clearace for only £1.5 so I got 5, it'll last me ages and save me money.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A
  • i was hoping the magix would be good! ive just ordered that stuff out of C3 but i wanted to know if it was wortgh it!!
im hoping to not order again now for a while and will probebly do the same and just order from clearance etc. and as everyone says its always good to know about the products your selling ;)
-- ive not used the cellusculpt stuff but my friend ordered it in the last brochure and its quite big so i thought id give it ago too
  • Hi! I thought I'd introduce myself - I am a new Representative (signed up two weeks ago) and I'm about to put in my first order - I have 122 houses but couldn't get round to all of them in time, but seem to have met the MOV (although that's reduced for the last time) which I'm quite pleased about on my first go!

I'm going to be watching this thread with interest - I'm already on Connects!

PS - I love the Magix Face Perfector, Lozza is right a small amount goes a long way!
  • Come and join the No More Toiletries Challenge Thread then - you'll get sent to the naughty step for buying toiletries you don't need! :rotfl: Seriously though, if you have more toiletries and cosmetics than you know what to do with, but still can't resist a glitch or bargain, drop in and see us!

I'll take a wonder off in that direction, don't know that I'm up to the challenge though

    :o
  • ...As for tips on not ordering for yourself - sorry, can't help with that. Am having a ball trying anything I fancy and returning it if I don't like it. :T Have never really been one for using a lot of make-up before but I've always been into skin care so I'm gradually working my way through the whole lot..... Well, we can only recommend if we try the products, eh? :j

    :rotfl: My thoughts exactly :rotfl:
    Everyone loves a bargain
  • Well done you! It makes it soooo much easier once you and your customers manage to get into a routine. I have 'quite a few' notes, which I tend to drop in i.e. to let them know you called (tends to almost 'guilt trip' them into communicating better with you - or even ordering something next time too by way of a little 'apology' :rotfl:for your hassle)

I think it has helped massively that I've always gone back exactly when I say I will. So they know when to expect me.

As for the ordering for myself I am getting quite good at sending the things back that I don't like - feel a bit cheeky doing this though. I ordered a bottle of perfume last month because the scented page always smells lovely but when I got it I didn't like it, it didn't smell anything like the page so that went back. (It was the Secret Fantasy one by the way)

I love magix face perfector! Mostly use it on its own, but occasionally as a base. :)
I do buy for myself, but that in itself has paid dividends. I love the supershock luxe lace eyeliners, and people noticed me wearing them and I have sold loads of them. I have also sold tons of Lotus shield as I find it amazing, and because I use it myself I rescued myself from a return as my customer was using too much too often, and I was able to explain how to use it properly and it hasn't come back! I only buy on offer, and bought several Lotus shield in the 3 for £5 and have then been selling them for £4 each ;)
I am also the one who does the returning! lol some for carp products, and some I didn't like! Only one customer return! I have sold some matt nail varnishes, and am wondering if they might come back though having read comments here!!
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???
  • what does everyone do with their old brochures?
i'm getting a little mountain building now
