I just collected my first books from my territory - only lost 1 because no one lives in the house anymore (it had candles in the window!). 2 orders out of 8 houses, one for £33 and one for £64! :j After being concerned I wouldn't make MOV I'm now a bit worried I'm going to be over my credit limit - will try and push family/self stuff back 'till next campaign!

Also, regarding deliveries - what do you guys do when you're at work? Have a neighbour take it in or have a box in your garden to put it in or what? Bit concerned about it 'cause my neighbour takes in loads of stuff for us as it is so I don't want her having to take stuff in every 3 weeks!

Firstly congrats! Secondly - did you join with an asm or a sl? If its a sl, if you get more orders than your credit limit will allow, see if they'll put the orders through on there account. Then when you have delivered your orders, you can pay them the cost price (or see if you can get payment from your friends/family before you deliver to them). I offer this to my reps, though noone yet has got more orders than there credit limit would allow. They should be happy to do this, it'll help their sales figures, and obviously help you get off to a good start.

For your deliveries, is there somewhere secure it can be left? Mine gets put in my shed, others have theres left in their porch/garage/storage box - anywhere out of sight and out of the elements is fine.

Signed up with an ASM but one of my friends is also a rep so I'll see if she can maybe take the excess if there is any - I'm just guessing I'm over for now.

I was thinking of buying a big storage box - like a toy box type effort that they can just be left in 'cause the shed's out the way and no porch unfortunately!

Hi lozza - that's a great idea offering an incentive. :T
Personally I think a free shampoo would appeal to me, especially if it was the advance techniques colour protection one....

The cheapest I can see the 250ml one is £1.40 in C9 and C10. However the 400ml one is only £1.50 in C10. With 25% discount the hair dye and 400ml shampoo would be £4.50, so there'd be no commission, but I think it might be worth it if it means you get regular custom for both the dye and the shampoo :)
    Wonder what everyone else thinks?
I've tried the dye, and I'm really pleased with the results :j and will definitely buy it again

yes I'd been toying also with the idea of:

if you buy the hair dye, you can purchase one of the 400ml bottles of shampoo for only £1.

Would still be loosing some on the shampoo, but then if it's got my customers to spend a few quid on the hair dye overall we'll be better off.

I'm trying to a real push this year with more exclusive offers - for C8 I'm doing if they spend £10, they can buy the set from the back pages (8 things for £10) for only £8.

C9 offer will be on the fathers day set of 4 things for £11, if they buy that they'll get a 250ml amazon shower gel free.

Hoping this will bump up our averasge order :)

OMG I'm having a total blonde moment so hoping someone can help!! :o

If my account balance screen shows:
    Current balance : £79.97 Pending product credits : £35.78

do I just need to pay the difference to clear the account, or are the credits already taken off and I owe the full £79.97?

Answered my own question - it's the full £79.97 I owe, as the statement details below show balance as £115.75....

Yeah I'm thinking I might do hair dye and 250ml shampoo for £5 - that's £4.43 cost price I think, so still a bit of profit, and a nice round number for the customer :)

I need to try and do more promo's too, but sometimes I think customers don't even bother reading them, so why bother :rotfl:

I'm going to do money off the hair dye personally. Thanks for the advice re- book theft Lozza; it's really making me doubt myself as to whether I've already picked it up without realising :( I'm sure I didn't though, I remember knocking and her not being there! She was really lovely though, so I'll ask her to keep an eye out when I see her next!

Hi all, just writing up some order forms in advance. was thinking of giving a little money off some things this time for spending £10 or more. But I don't want to seem like I am desperate for customers as I just did a free body spray with orders over £15 on c7. Would it be better to wait til the next campaign, c9, and offer something else or does it matter if I do it this time?

It was only going to be a discount of 30-55 pence off a choice of items - was going to let them choose one item for a £1 for spending £10...

not sure if I should do it and that they will get to expect it all the time from me. :) would appreciate feedback, thanks!
