Just seen the Advanced Techniques Daily Shine Dry End Serum recommended in Take a Break magazine!! A reader has written in about it and had it published. Good selling point!!Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0

i cant see the view subtotal button its not where it normally is. the only options i have are back to previous page / update order or go to next step.
That is odd! Have you tried going to next step, and then clicking return to order to see if that sorts it out?
Maybe worth speaking to your SL or contacting Avon. I'm sure someone will be along with a solution soon enough. Sorry, can't help any more

Hi all, newbie here, starting up next Monday.... currently on maternity leave and not going back so will be resigning shortly.
Question re being self employed - how quickly do you have to register for this and what are the levels of tax you will pay? I only plan on being part time.
There will be an overlap between my resigning and starting up with Avon so I hope it won't cause issues....
Also just a random question - what do you do with the houses that don't want Junk Mail?? Do you knock on the door and ask if they would like a brochure?
Also another quite important question - I noticed from the FAQ's that Avon do a mini credit check - now I consider that I am likely to fail this having previously been bankrupt (long story) but will this be a major stumbling block to working with Avon?
ThanksBSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
The main thing Avon checks for is if you've done Avon before and if you did do you still owe them money. I've had people accepted who have ccjs, mil can't even get a proper bank account or monthly sim as her credit ratig is so poor but Avon accepted her fine. So I wouldnt worry.
I deliverEd books to all my houses, I have quite a few customers who say no junk mail or door to door sales. I'd leave them till last, do the rest of your houses first then if you don't get the books back it's not such a lossAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Hi, welcome to the thread!! Ok... 1st you have to register as self employed within 3 months of starting. It is very quick and easy. You should also request a small earnings exemption form, and provided you meet the criteria given you won't have to pay NI.
Secondly, I would ask the houses that say no Junk Mail. Say something along the lines of 'I noticed your sign, and did not wish to inconvenience you by dropping a brochure through if it is unwanted, but some of my customers have these signs so I just wanted to check with you before missing you out.' If they have the 'No Cold Callers' sign, do the opposite, and instead of knocking leave a book with a little note.
As far as I can make out, the credit check Avon does is a) to check you are really you! b) to make sure you do not owe Avon money. Most people seem to get through ok.

As far as the sub total is concerned I have seen on connects that people on c6 are saying that until a week before ordering you now can't check your subtotal ..... So anyone still on c5 hasn't been effected yet.
I don't know anything about this officially, I only know from the 'gossip' and moaning on connects. Sorry I can't help more. I will be asking my SL if she knows what is happening.Life is a work in progress0 -
I haven't heard anything official about this, mine was fine last night (I'm still on c5 until 10pm tonight). But I've heard other sl and reps saying they can't use it at the mo. Don't know anything more unfortunately, hopefully it's just a glitch in the system that'll get sortedAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
