I deliver my books on a friday and collect half on the following tuesday and the other half on the weds. I deliver any orders when I collect their books in. If they are not in and have an order to pay for, I leave a card asking them to contact me for a different day. If they aren't in and haven't got an order to be delivered I don't bother going back as I have found that those who want to order something will either contact me or wait until next time.0 -

I deliver my books anytime from mon-thurs and ALWAYS collect on a monday. Deliveries are always on a tuesday. I'm a bit upside down at the mo as folks were getting fed up of the two short campaigns so dropping on 2nd week to all and as they order, bringing them forward to the first week. Sounds all a bit double dutch but aim is to get all books out in first week without overdosing them on avon!
This also gives folks the opportunity to hold on to the books for an extra week if ... (daughter wants to see it, I need to take it in to work, I'm going to be away for a few days, can my neighbour have a look, granddaughter loves avon and is coming down for a few days, not had the time to have a look etc.)Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

everyone does it differently i think!
At first I did it separately, I found it easier to get orders out day after my delivery, then books the week after but soon the regular customers were asking for the next book when i delivered their order. So this campaign is the first one where I've given them the next book with their order.
Unfortunately my main job has gone crazy so i wasnt able to collect the books on the night i was supposed to, left work at 1045pm instead of 530pm! Collected a few tonight & text the few that hadn't left their books out as it was 9 and i didnt want to be knocking on doors. Hopefully they know me well enough now for it not to make a difference!0 -
I always put the next book in their order, which I deliver on a sat morning. I give my customers who haven't ordered the books on the Friday or sat to so I can collect the books back on the Wednesday after, which other than the 2 week campaigns means I have time to recanvas with the books. My customers get the books first!! Sort of a special treat lol, plus I know that I should get them back too!
Love hearing how others work their areasLife is a work in progress0
