I'm looking across c4/c5/c6 as I use certain products which I'm getting low on and noticed a difference in price so going to try and do some creative ordering for my own stuff :rotfl: Also was looking at ordering some of the charms for my DDs birthday in April. Johanne bought her the hello kitty charm bracelet for Xmas so I'm going to add some charms to itIve had to stop looking through my avon books i think i'd order almost everything they have in them if i could!! i spend all of my money buying out of them when im supposed to be saving it!! im so bad!
..and thats why I'm looking only for stuff I'd actually use at the cheapest price :rotfl:
Managed to log into the site today but just checked messages etc ...but I need to go and collect books I guess. Was supposed to be waiting in for a delivery of something but its not arrived :mad:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
don't start panicking yet ladies about the Anew stuff. Wait and see what happens. It might all be rumours and blow over.0

lol thats what im trying to do now, i try not to look through the books unless im short of stuff and then i'll look for it when its coming up cheaper!!0

I do buy stuff, but, as my oh pointed out - if it's no good I can return it (where else can you do that), if you use it then it's worth it plus I spend less on things we would buy any way - shampoo, shower gel, hand wash, body lotion etc.
Have a look next time you go shopping and see how much the stuff you NEED would cost, and how much the stuff you WANT costs (note the difference there!!) then see what you spen buying it from Avon.
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Ooooh not liking the sound of products being available cheaper at TJ Hughes and pound shops (which ones?)
Does anyone have any more details about Avon hair colours? - I see they have been given a mention in HT9, but no specific details.
Hope you'll feel a bit better soon, missminx - it's a miserable day where I am, too:(
Ty, Neffy. Oh dear dear, glad I spotted my typo before posting! I pressed 'd' instead of 'f'. How embarrassingI just read on connects about the hair dye and the TJHughes thing. If you log on and have a look, they have posted the colours etc on there and are giving some away free tomorrow.
If we were all to post some of our favourite Avon products that we use ourselves and why we like them, would someone be able to condense that to a single post for the front page of the thread or would that be a pain? For instance, I find that the sleep balm does wonders for headaches. My friend came round to see me and she had a headache so I gave her some to try. When she left, I asked if it worked and she looked surprised and said ' Oh I'd forgotten all about my headache!' So I take it that it worked for her too. Just thought it may be of use to us but could take up space as individual posts, any thoughts or ideas on this??

Lozza won't have room to put it on the first post. And to be able to link to one post about it, we would all need to post in one post.
You could do that. Make one post, and as people post what they like, you can update your post, and Lozza can link to that one.0 -

Unfortunately people have reported seeing Anew stuff in TJ Hughes' across the country. Someone even posted photos on Connects and you could see the price of about £4.99. I think some were £6.99. Maybe they were an old version/formula/packaging? I couldn't tell because I've only seen a few boxes of Anew myself in my own orders. They've advertised the products on their flyers and adverts as well.
The photos were posted after Christmas, so it's still recent. Someone reported seeing Naturals recently in a pound shop, too.
Avon are said to be looking into it.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I think doing that would be a good idea0
