My ASM is coming tomorrow to drop off some books and see how I'm getting on.I'm looking forward to her seeing her face when I tell her I've hit HOV and I still have books to collect which includes 1 lot which was taken into work by the woman, and another who has passed on the book to her mum
Also had someone ask me to put the next brochure through their door. I thought the building was offices so chickened out of putting one through but apparently its flats
She's said she wants to order make-up so I'll be making sure she gets a C5 on the next put out on that street.
Also got a couple more from work which just tipped me over the top. One lady has even paid me upfront as she's likely to forget otherwise. I couldn't refuse when she sent a pupil from her class to me with the cash in the middle of a lesson in another classroom :rotfl: Thats been put safely to one side to ensure it doesn't accidentally get spent. I would like to get 5 minutes to sit down and look through C4 for myself at some point but everytime I've opened the book in work to have a look someone has started asking me questions about it :rotfl: Going to take it to bed with me now.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Seems to have happened a lot recently (makes me wonder whether it's actually intentional on Avon's part i.e. end of year a/c's?) Anyway, find the bar code no. on your returns receipt and either email Avon or call them giving them the details and they should then action the relevant credit to your account.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Might be worth handing out your C5 books early. Depending on your customer orders i.e. if they like foundations it could be worth putting in an additional C4 order so you can back-order foundations @ £4 in C3 You'll be charged £2.50 for an additional order and will need to hit MOV/HOV again before earning commission but if you have a few orders @ £10.50 and can back-order @ £4 then it's well worth it. Don't forget if you've already submitted C6 orders then any from C5 will need to be an additional order as you can only backorder C6 from C7 main brochure. They charge £2.50 delivery and you need to make MOV to get any discount. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Thanks. I have canvassed all my territory now, I recanvased my first road with C4. Shall I order the books and recanvas everyone who asked for a book again? just wondering how many books I should order?
I did my first order with my SL and am confident about doing it again on my own. I didn't realise I could save the order and add to it.
Those who have asked for a book and havent seen c4 yet id cover with that as much as you can..... and those whove seen c4 cover with the new C5s....
however if youve not got alot of c4 left id cover some houses that havent seen c4 with c5s but make sure you keep a good note of whose seen what - so you dont get confused and show them the same book twice!
Depending how many books youve managed with so far id order about the same - maybe add 5-10 more books (1 pack) for any new customers you pick upIts a guessing game at the start as to how many you need unfortunetly

a little birdy told me theyve been inundated with returns of christmas stock etc (poor sales over christmas/ deliveries too late due to the snow etc) and also some areas the returns sat in depots for a while due to the bad weather meaning the couriers couldnt return them to avon .... so there was a backlog to clear in the returns department so thats why so many recharages. Sounds logical i suppose???
i had £192 of recharges last month!! ( and thats MY cost price!!)..... they had no trace of the parcels even with barcode numbers so i had to scan the forms and send them over to them to prove id sent them back as they havent seen them despite them being sent at the end of november!0 -

In 8 yrs of doing avon I've always had incorrect recharges at this time of yr. Talking to my delivery driver and adding my cynical mind, I wonder if stuff gets pinched around xmas time, as obviously it is more attractive and easier to sell on. He told me it would be easy for stuff to go missing at their warehouse."Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0 -

I usually make a note of what book I have put through what door.
I started off with around 40 books over 2 camps but I then I was canvassing alot of house and now I am starting to build a customer base I have less houses to cover if you get me so guessing I need less?Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -

Don't you order your books two campaigns ahead i.e. so you can have your next books already prepped when your Avon delivery arrives? Each to their own of course, but I find it helps me to have the customer orders already piled up with the next customer book and any notes, offers, free gifts, etc. rather than have to start and prep books at the same time as bagging up my customer orders. (It also helps if you've got a customer you want to hide a better deal from in the next bookYes, am evil on occasions - but not often.... It's my little way of getting my own back if they've been a nuisance i.e. not in, not had their monies ready or just nonchalantly told me to come back later.... :rotfl:)
As for suggestions for freebies, choose anything from your back campaign @ 99p i.e. nett to you at 74p/80p (depending on HOV/MOV) or if I've got your current camp right (and the shampoos are popular with your customers) you might even want to try ordering the AT Demo products from HT6 - the volume package (4 items for £3.50 nett - approx. 87p each, is a great deal)
Good luck.
I did for a few campaigns but it was costing me more then i was making to keep doing it so now ive fallen into the pattern im in now lol x0 -
btw, whats smart start level one? sorry if i sound silly but i have no idea what that is but avon just text me this morning congratulating me on getting it0
