What a beautiful weekend we are having, so far a low spend one for me just as well as we have no money roll on payday on Tuesday.
Things are going to be slower for the next month on payments as we have the rest of the holiday to pay for. Ebay is going ok I have a few bids so that should add up to a small overpayment but I must get more items listed.
Todays task is meal planning which is just as well as I dont plan on moving that far from my garden chair :D
Im still aiming to find the extra cash to get me under £27K this month I need to find £310  looks like ebay is going to be my best friend for the next month.

  • Morning HWG, glad you've got our nice weather this morning, can we have it back now??

Hope you can make that extra money, it's great seeing people achieve their targets:j
I've done okay on ebay this week, a Wall-e toy that was never opened went for loads, it'll be off to Sweden this morning! However i've had someone asking for a refund as a dress never reached them? I'm not sure what to do as the PO won't even look at the case until it's three weeks late, suppose i just make the refund and take the hit:(

Anyway chocolate tomorrow , can't wait to help the 2 year old with his eggs, just can't allow him to eat too much choc at his age, can i :D:D

What a strange day with the weather, sitting the garden in the blazing hot sun with thunder rumbling in the background for over an hour before it arrived with some well overdue rain.
Good news for today made about £20 on ebay after fees just waiting for one more to pay and I will transfer the money I have already paid the fees so no little surprises in a month.
Second bit of good new had a letter from work saying we are getting an annual rise from 1st May works out about an extra £40 per month.
All plans are in place for paydays later this week and as it stands I need to make £310 to get us to the magic £27k, its nice to see it come down but im still finding it slow and im getting fed with being skint why oh why did we waste so much money :(
Friday transfer was £1.81 only just done it as im all lost with the days, my little pot is now at £55.99 and I havent missed any of the transfers so an easy way to save for me.
Still lots to do in my 2 days off and im going to try and get them done tomorrow
    Meal plan
    Paint bathroom
    Clean through house
    Ironing

  • You can do it HWG.
Do you pay your ebay fees each time you make a sale? Is it just a case of pressing the right button that says pay your fees now? I've never done it but it would be better than having to check what's owed before i move any money.
Mind you a lot of my smaller sales i just recycle into buys!!

Good luck with your list of jobs, i'll be off to the ironing soon:p

I like to get the fees paid as I go along otherwise if I empty my paypal account it then comes off my cc and thats in a bad enough state as it is.
Im now hoping DH gets a payrise this year as they were all put on hold last year although he got a bonus which helped us clear some debt, I cant wait to get under £20k and then i will feel like we are on the home straight. I spoke to DH yesterday saying we just need to find £310 to get under £27k and he looked at me like i was crackers.

So in my 2 days that I have off I have now:
[STRIKE]Meal plan[/STRIKE] Done for this week need to next week
    [STRIKE]Paint bathroom[/STRIKE] All back together
[STRIKE]Clean through house[/STRIKE] Upstairs is sparkling downstairs tomorrow
[STRIKE]Ironing[/STRIKE] Done except for stuff drying
    [STRIKE]Get paperwork upto date
[/STRIKE] Mine is complete just need to encourage DH to sort his bits

Wow what a day I have even had a look at my spreadsheet and it now looks like I have 14 paydays until DFD this will need me to keep busy with ebay/amazon but I have found tons to ebay whilst cleaning through today.
The aim is to be DF by my 39th birthday June 2012 which will allow me a year to save for a holiday for my 40th.

Off to scrub myself clean now while yummy Roast Pork is cooking if nothing else I should sleep well tonight.

DH has just had confirmation of a payrise just hoping it goes through this month as it will make a huge difference to overpayments. It also means i wont have to find the £310 as we should be into the £26K.

I joined the 100 challenge yesterday but now feel a bit of a fraud yesterday I was going to struggle to make the money and today its easy maybe I need to up that amount as I dont want to lose momentum. I have also got all my MSE ways back meal planning and taking cash out for my pots and I want to keep this up. If we carry on as we are our new DFD will be Feb 2012 if I pull my finger out there is a slight chance we could do it by the end of the year but it will mean alot of work and making extra cash.

OMG thats less than a year away 10 paydays at worst case, I feel like I have won the lottery :rotfl:

Thanks woowoo its strange as only last week I said to him do you think that payrise will come off, maybe i will stick with this positive thinking.

The money I made on ebay has been spent however I think it was a good investment, I need a dress for a wedding im going to later in the year and in the shop last year it was £175 just won it brand new on ebay for £24.99.

Payday tomorrow so looking forward to making a few small payments and also updating my signature, off to play with the snowball now
