it's a hard deciscion which to pay first but I'd go for the one with the lowest balance to get rid of it.

LOL funny how we all see the incentive of which to clear differently! As you know I want rid of Ricardo, it has highest interest but not highest balance. DH has truely screwed up his Halifax card, not paying it for 3 months....................gggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. This card also has the highest balance and I am tempted to clear it first as it will make a big dent in the debt (£8000)

Todays dilemma, now my Lloyds card is cleared is should be closed however online it is showing as open and has a 0% for 6 months deal on it. Do I BT Tesco and most of DH Mint card to it, the BT fee is one months interest on DH Mint card so im not too bothered about that.
My concern is that DH will see nil balance and go spend spend spend

I have set my Lloyds card to close upon clearing the balance but that still shows as having a balance transfer option!

How much interest will the 6 months save you if you move the cards?

Just got off the phone to them, they have reinstated the card interest rate 16.9% much better that what it used to be.
BT will save about £800 maybe a bit more when i take the fee off so I think its worth doing

I will do my Tesco one in a bit but leave his MINT until hes out of site, less he knows the better. Does mean I will still have 5 debts but it will mean 50% of all debt is on 0%.
The plan is once the Mint card is cleared in full any 0% deals coming to an end can get BT back to MINT as it has a 12K limit.
Now have to go back to spreadsheet and work out who to pay what on payday

Tesco will be gone this week BT completed tried to do one to DH Mint card and it declined due to the amount, no surprise but the department which unblock the accounts at Lloyds are not at work today.
I have given up with ebay 52 items about 17 had watchers and I sold 1 item £1.99 3 items left to finish later, good job it was free listing as I would have been gutted if i had paid

Well at least you sold one, but the same has happened to me in the past and its very disheartening. Give it a few weeks and try again!

Well done on BT, 50% of debt @ 0% is brilliant, would love one offer but thats a long way off for me.
