    Just to add, it was exactly the same down here in Sunny (but chilly) Sussex. I also checked my connections, laptop settings and microfilters! LOL. Bit frustrating but 1 outage in 12 months isn't too bad.

    ...............although am considering a move to Talk Talk. Can't decide though!!

    Doesn't it drive you mad !!

    Because you're not sure if it's a problem your end (your Pc, something in your house) or ISP's end (connection into your house).

    But what drives me MAD is, when I have had a problem like this, I phone my ISP (NTL Broadband), they won't admit there is a problem, they give you runaround checking your computer settings !!

    I always call the free service status line if theres a problem. This advises of any network issues. 0800 1690199
