Don't waste your time expecting them to do what they're supposed to do. See the post before yours or you'll continue in an ever-widening spiral downwards for custromer "services" to have fun with.0

hi heidi from vodafone,
whilst your in the mood to sort problems can you let me know why i was told the iphone 4s was in stock and would be delivered within 2 days only to find a text message later saying it had been delayed for 3 weeks as it was out of stock? i rang the next day and was told "dont worry" you'll have it by monday. 2 weeks later im left wondering which one of the 52 Mondays he was actually referring to. Yet again more lies from vodafone to achieve sales targets. Can you fix that problem? if you can sort vodafone out you should find sorting out the Euro a breeeze!!!!0 -
Hi omuman,
As you can imagine, the iPhone 4s is in very high demand therefore stock levels can change dramatically in a very short space of time.
As soon as we have stock available, we will be able to fulfill the orders placed. We are also updating customers on stock levels here: Vodafone iPhone 4s stock.
Thanks,
Heidi

My word! Thought Vodafone was improving when this thread slipped to page 2. How wrong could I be; yet another in a long line of !!!!-ups means the fun never ends with my contracts!0

Hi Heidi
i am so upset with your company & the lack of care shown to your potential & now definately Ex customer.
Briefly heres my story... so far!
Ordered new Iphone 4s from store which turned out to be an online oreder which was not explained to me. My partner ordered the same phone & when he started getting communications from you I called to find out what was happening but my order could not be found. After many calls my order was finally found & I picked up the phone.
The first bill came through without the discount that was the condition of having the contract & after calling different departments this was applied but I had decided that due to the appalling customer service I did not want to deal with you or kkep the contract. As this was in the first week I took it back to my local store. After waiting for over half an hour whilst the assistant was on the phone ( No apology I may add) I was told that it would be collected between 0800 & 1800 in two days time which I said was impractical. The only other option was to leave the phone with them but without a proper receipt I was not happy to do this.
That evening I once again called your customer services to arrange collection & the guy said he would call me back the next day.
The next morning he called to say that it would be collected from the store on friday & that they would log in onto my account that the phoned had been returned.
I called yesterday to see if the phone had been collected but customer services were unable to do this & said it needed time for the warehouse to process the return. I was given the stores no so I could check it had been collected. I called & left a message & sepite their promise to get back to me am still waiting!
I went into the store about an hour ago & surprise surprise the phone is still there. No one had the decency to actually call me to say it hadnt been collected or to apologise.
Another 20 minutes was spent waiting ( one again without apology) til I was told it would definately be picked up this friday.
After reading numerous posts I have no faith that this will happen.
I called customer service again only to have the phone put down on me.
Please help me resolve this
***** UPDATE *****
Went into store yesterday & the phone was not picked up! GRRRRRRR!0 -
hi heidi,
Another question on your iphone fiasco. I am now fuming because a friend has received his iphone 4s today. He ordered the exact same phone 4 days after i placed my order. what is going on with you lot? why can people get a phone before those who placed their order. Oh i forgot to mention that he joined vodafone. is it the case that you dont really bother about your "loyal" customers. I think your just another money hungry corporation out to maximise profit at the expense of those with the misfortune who joined your company. Yet again another message today saying the phone is delayed by another 2 weeks. Just what is the maximum amount of time you have to wait before you get the phone.0 -
I found the telephone sales team very pleasant and obliging. We agreed a deal and I was all set to receive the sim and phone the following week... Then the problems!
1, Phone failed to arrive without any notice of such and at the same time had my number PAC'd across so left without a working phone. CS said phone still awaiting despatch in warehouse for early the following week! Credit to the manager on duty who arranged alternative fast delivery.
2, Tariff agreed was not the one applied. CS told me that there was no record of the agreement on their system and I had what I had! Had to chase down the sales rep and manager of the sales team who had jointly agreed the deal in the first place to get it corrected.
3, Received the 'welcome' letter/contract confirmation with the incorrect contract details.
4, CS unable to help and denied the tariff agreed even existed even though it remains for sale on the website! Also told me the agreed deal was 'impossible' and that they were unable to listen back to the recorded phone calls to verify what I was saying. Also said the notes on my account did not state the deal agreed despite me being told by the original sales team they had made specific notes on the account detailing the deal. One CS rep even lied and said I had been told the details of the deal I was on were those in force and that there was a note on the account saying as much!
5, Had to call repeatedly to randomly find the same manager on duty in sales who checked my account and found that incorrect discounts had been applied. This despite having discussed with the sales rep and spoken explicitly about the relevant agreed elements and having them repeated back to me so I could check we were on the same wavelength! The manager reassured me I was on the correct deal at the correct price, after he re-applied the agreed discounts for the agreed duration.
BUT I am still waiting to get the written confirmation of the tariff allowances, term, discounts and duration of discounts that he promised to email me to my registered email address!
Why can Voda not do what has been agreed and what they have promised???!!! I am now tied in to a 2 year deal without knowing for sure what I am on and how much I will be paying! This is not an auspicious start to our relationship and I am retiscent to recommend them to friends/family.0 -
Get used to it. It's perfectly normal for Vodafarce - or haven't you read this thread and innumerable others about them?0

another issue that may have been raised before. I agreed to a new deal with Vodafone paying a considerable amount/month, part of this new agreement was 'unlimited' text messages. I have recently contacted Vodafone re this only to be told 'unlimited, is 3000 texts/month. My understanding is that texts costs to Vodafone are tiny (anyone know how much) and that a company like Vodafone such lead by example and lead from the front advertising the actual facts in large font so customers will not have to get out a magnifying glass to read them.
So far I have had two responses from Vodafone both of them were read from a script IMHO with no understanding of my complaint. I have been a Vodafone customer for several years (bloody stupid me) and as usual Vodafone know how to annoy customers without even trying.
Does anyone know if I can tell Vodafone 'your fired' due to there use of misleading advertising (allegedly). Thanks for reading my good mannered rant. Glenn:0
