Greyhounds are lovely dogs, I think if I ever have a dog it will be a greyhound :)

To the OP - Do you not have your cats any more? Would just be a bit concerned that neither of the dogs in the link say anything about them being OK with cats.

Edit: In fact I just noticed they both feature a pic of a cat with a big red cross over it so definitely no good with cats!

Thats a long story, to cut it short my neighbours complained of the noise and I had to rehome one and I couldn't bare to choose so I rehomed both. Thankfully my JRT is not a barker and Greyhounds are quiet. A family member took the Bengals so they are still in the family.

I will see which takes to our JRT better and which one she takes to better. I will ask them if they will let me let Jess of the lead to run around in a kennel to see what the two dogs do when they see her running around. One at a time obviously.

ummm.....not always. Just sometimes. Mine has hound song that rivals the local hunt kennels and I have multiple friends who are breeders of show greyhounds (hence being familiar with kennelled one's albeit not ex racers) when I visit the volume can be horrific. If someone comes to the door of my house I can hear my greyhound from half a mile over my fields. Noise management is vital here to be neighbourly.

If noise is an issue maybe you had better triple check this with the individual dog.

Both dogs look beautiful, looks like it's going to be a tough choice! Hope it all works out well on the day - I'm sure your Jack Russell will give you an idea :)
