Crazy 2011 clothes challenge

I've made my first purchase of the year on the clothes challenge, a george at Mr A stripey cotton blazer (£10), not a wear often type of item but I've got a girls night out this week and it would go quite well with the dress I have. I think I should probably buy more useful items from now on though, a year is a long time for £100 to lastMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

Can I join with a conservative £300 for the year.I know it seems a lot but i've gone down 6 sizes in the past 18 months and am hoping to lose more:j:jGot rid of 14 black bin bags of fat clothes last week too, so am hoping this challenge will keep me on the straight and narrow"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Wow - well done on the weight loss candygirl. That's amazing!CC debt: £0/£9 0000

No further spends for me either (just the £28 bra already declared).
I must confess to being a bit like Blonde Ambition in the fact that not only did I blow the budget last year, I probably spent around the same as she did - oops!
I'm having another major clear-out of my wardrobe and have found 33 handbags (so far), I usually end up using the same two, so must try harder to use them. Also, can tell before even looking that I have way too much stuff - OH is moving in this year and his clothes already take up a third of my wardrobe and that's only some of his, help!
I also bought a few dresses of ebay last year which I didn't like once they came (too frumpy or something) so going to get these altered into fab new items (I hope) so hoping alterations don't count!0 -

KNow what you mean about spending enough to get free delivery.:rotfl: In the past I'd spend £10s more just to save a fiver in p&p. NOT ANY MORE THOUGH, thanks to this site!:rotfl::T
I'm a bit of a lurker on here - been doing the NSD challenge since Aug and keep thinking about joining this challenge but if I totalled up what I'd already spent on clothes this year to date I'd prob get a shock  actually, that might not be right as I did have a bit of a spree in Mango, but OH treated me to it and gave me the £ when I got home - bless him! x
Oh, what I was going to say is, I regually order enough to get free delivery if I order off the internet - but have started to make sure I order items other than the one I really want in sizes I know won't fit, or items I don't like to make sure I sent them back
I did spend another £50 online in the Mango sale(yes, in addition to my splurge) but £30 has gone back, and I'm still deciding on a cardi (which is what I really wanted....) OH really likes it, and I'm not 100% sure I need it - still have time to take it back to store though.
I did set myself a challenge a while back of one/two items a month if I really needed them - perhaps I should join you guys officially after all....Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Have been v good and escaped DottyP sale without buying either red dress (designed for someone without my bust size) or indigo shirt (same problem). fortunately was after Bravissimo hours or would have stomped off there in a huff.
Am thinking may have to get trolley bag for work. Currently take laptop in rucksack but end up with sweaty patch between shoulder blades as soon as I've walked for 10 mins - usually only on way home so not such a problem. Not a good look though, will only get worse in summer and I need to do more walking to combat the muffin top! Or does anybody have more ideas how to carry loads of stuff while still attempting to look smart and elegant (ish)?

Get a man to do it for you
I would check somewhere like TKMaxx or ebay for stylish lappie bags, or maybe one of those mini travel bags on wheels, at least you would look as though you were about to jet off somewhere... really not sure about the trolley bag idea :undecided
