When you do have to spend, dont forget that White Stuff & All Saints are on Quidco
Actually just done a little MSE research and Quidco aren't offering anything special on All Saints at the mo, just the sale and free delivery which you get anyway.
But, Top Cash Back are offering 15.5% cashback on All Saints for the coming week.
Still thinking abot those boots, clearly . . .
Otherwise, how is everybody coping with "Blue Monday"? I'm having a NSD, which seems appropriate!

I thought I'd try and pick your brains on this. I remember wearing an underskirt under my school uniform as a little girl in the 80s but haven't even seen them for years.
Now I have a few dresses that are quite clingy fabric and show the entire outline of my bra at the back as well as the waistband of my tights. So Im thinking a kind of all-in-one slip underneath the dress might smooth out the lines.
Does anyone wear them and if so, where do you buy them from? Or do you have any other tips for wearing clingy dresses?

Hello & welcome to nikki2002-2008
good to have you aboard.
Thanks for the slip tips Andiepandie - I've been looking for something to wear under a couple of clingy dresses/tunics as they creep up. I tried M&s but they are too long & expensive for my budget ... will now try primarni sleepwear0 -
Funny how these challenges change your way of thinking.... I was out today and was about to go into the bank to pay some cheques in when I spotted White Stuff out of the corner of my eye- with sale signs still up!!
After giving myself a little talking to, I went in for a look.... somehow nothing took my eye, although I know full well that if I had gone in there thinking I could spend, I would have come out with more than one carrier bag!!
It felt good to know that I can control my spending when I want to- after all it is going to be a good few years before I can spend much again :eek:Save £12k in 2021: Jan £1834.40, Feb £1692.810 -
..Was wondering if I could join too? I dont think that I spend a lot on clothes - but after reading other posts - I think I actually do but dismiss it as "essentials" (or because Im buying for my Daughter, dont count it!!)
I hope to include the clothes for my DD too - requires new Guides stuff and going into High School this year - gulp! Im thinking £300 should be a good figure to aim for.. that said, after a bank card (expiring) faux pas, now having to wait until 1st march for Javari boots (if I'm included - I'm hoping I dont need to declare this till it comes off my bank????)... next day delivery indeedWish to be out of O/draft by end of 2011 - [STRIKE]£-696.20 Jan'11 [/STRIKE][STRIKE]£633.88 Feb'11[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£-680.21[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Mar'11 £-813.13(its going the wrong way!)[/STRIKE]apr'11 £-660 (given up on this bit.. too depressing!):(Crazy 2011 clothes challenge #81: £270.97/£3000 -
Hi everyone
I've had my 1st spend of the year on clothes - A pair of waterproof boots from Cotton Traders for £20 which is half price.
My dad bought a pair last week and I liked the look of them, will be good instead of my snow boots for work.

Hi all. Thanks for the welcome. I took back the Karen Millen dress. Was given a bit of a hard time by the sales girls "But it's soooo reduced, you have to buy these things when you see them" etc. Yes, but still 70% off was still £100 quid for a dress I don't need. So I was strong. Hurrah. Nearly had palpitations on my way out and had to take deep breaths as I saw a bag in the sale but somehow managed to leave empty-handed.
I have to declare a few items though but I'm not including these as they were bought with money refunded on to credit card for items bought before Christmas and some money that someone owed me from before Christmas (2 pairs boots, jumper and pair of earrings, total £83). I am declaring £5 spent yesterday on a skirt from H&M. I saw it in the sale for £10 last week but had no time to try it on, it was 5.27pm, they wouldn't let me, I would make the time otherwise! So, I was walking past yesterday and fell in the shop and it had been reduced to £5. I think it was because of the faulty sizing as I had to go up a size! Aargh! But it's beautiful, looks like a Coast skirt. Well, that's my excuse. Off to update signature.Clothes challenge 2011 £254.08/£500!!!Toiletries challenge 2011 Trying!:j:T:j0 -
Nothing to report so far spend wise, went looking at a few sale rails at the weekend, but nothing pretty found!
Good news is that my sister had a wardrobe clearout and has given me seven tops, which I am very pleased with! :cool:0
