£20.50 for a lovely pair of Skechers trainers in the sale. I'm very pleased to get some at half price as my old pair have pretty much worn out.

To make up for all you sinners, I've just selected some more items to go onto eBay, NOT bought anything new other than a pair of £2.03 insoles from Boots because my work shoes nearly made me cry....oh, and I am doing a big trying on session to see what else can go on eBay...ie if it doesn't fit then it's out. :)

Even though I am mainly a lurker on this thread I feel I must confess I 'fell' into French Connection yesterday and 'somehow' came out with a pair of jeans from the sale (still £40!) and a scarf...also in the sale at £14.50!!!! yikes! not sure what posessed me. I have tons of jeans so didn't exactly need any more, but these do fit rather nicely (they are bootcut flares) and well, I just liked the scarf. :o

Also need to confess spending 32 pounds in Sainsburys! three long tops to wear with leggings (and some underwear but are we counting that?)

At least I have a decent collection of clothes for my holiday.

  • Hi all. Uh-oh. Have lost the plot a little. Hmmm. Have got a few things in the sales. Am not going to declare now though as am going to put some stuff on eBay to try to offset it. Will be tough though as one dress was £92, half price! Is gorgeous though. I will declare a £6 Topshop dress I bought in a charity shop. I love it.

I think I'm going to try to take back the bag I bought recently as it is already looking so tatty. They will probably say it is a casual style but I'm not happy.

Hot here so am going to wear a summer dress today. Not jeans!

    Have a good day everybody.

Gosh there are some very nice clothes by the sounds of things being bought along with some big price tags and some little price tags too!lol - must be the sun going to our heads - am sure the weather has got something to do of how we feel about spending money on clothes - I know I always feel that I want to buy something new when the sun comes out because the warm weather makes me feel good.....hmm maybe we need a shopping pyschologist on this forum too to help us.

Mind you Lula keeps us all in check :)

Am a very happy bunny at the moment - colleagues DD gave me two huge bags of clothes for my DD2 & 3 last week - inside was loads of tops, dresses, leggings &T - shirts including likes of Sup**Dry, Miss Sel****ges,T*p S**p,J**e No**an - hardly worn most of them, some still with labels on - DD3 totally over the moon as I was too as was given leggings, jeans and two tops (that they felt were more my style:cool:).

Anyway I managed to use the last of my B day money (from Feb lol,) to buy those elusive shoes ready for my DD1 graduation next week - thank you N** L**k for that. Spent £6 on a pair of gold distressed gladiator style wedges which were orginally £19.99 - dress them up or down me thinks.

And with the last £2 from Bday ( although I do have £1.10, still on a gift card somewhre:cool:)I bought a vintage style long top, sleeveless cotton with a few buttons down front pale yellow, beige and white flowers from a festival I went to this weekend - wore it first night with linen pants and a gold sequin bolero shrug thing- next day with cargo pants and was so tired fell asleep in it last night, so back up nightie too:rotfl:.So I think I have got my money out of it all ready!

Well next month am in London so have promised myself I can buy something new if I want to - but at moment I don't think I need anything.
