happiness = finding a cardi that will go well with brown linen trousers
sadness = remembering threw out brown linen trousers in a mad fit of sorting out wardrobe:(
actually the cardi will go with lots of stuff and is going on holiday with me:)it is a LA linen print with birds of different colours(bought in the sale I hasten to add!) so will take white pants and lots of different camis so saving space in case as sharing with DH to save the maga bucks EJ now charge for a case:eek:0 -
Happiness for Freedom Monday - wore a jade green dress to work and was told I looked trim and my dress was nice. I replied (to my friend who made the remark) that it was an old dress approx 5 years old which I didn't wear that often as I couldn't do it up at various time due to weight gain. Nice Freedom Monday
No other freedom days so far - will have to have shuffle about in the wardrobe for a look!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Afternoon all!
Just thought I'd provide an update seeing as we're half way through the year! Doing OK so far, spent £21.50, including underwear! Did well for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and got 3 new tops. 2 v suitable for work, 1 rather showy and ideal for a wedding I'm going to next month!
Need a new pair of jeans though, but will hopefully find some in the summer sales!
All good fun isn't it?! QBxOfficial DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109

No new spends....finding yet more to dispose of though....Having said that, I'll be made to buy new clothes in late July because my employer has a strict policy on us wearing current season stuff...at least I'll get a hefty discount.0

Declaring 50p spent on a stripy jumper from a fete.
Also got a gorgeous jacket from Ebay for £5.49 and a not so nice tshirt for £3! However the last two came from my Paypal balance, so don't count.0 -

Sorry rosemary, but that really made me laugh :rotfl:. It's something I've done on several occasions.
Happy New Clothes to all that have them :j
I think I may well be at clothes saturation point now. I have a work wardrobe that I'm really happy with at the moment. I'm just getting on with freedom days & it's not so scary anymore, my confidence is increasing.
So much of my stuff is now ebay bargains that if I wear something & don't feel good in it, it's no hardship to charitize it as it was cheap in the first place. I previously kept stuff that was new & unworn because I felt so bad about having spent lots of money on it.
I do still have some unworn items, but that's because I outgrew them before I got a chance. The new eating plan is going well & with holiday in just 3 weeks I'm on track to losing a fair few inches & pounds.
Finally, I've realised that being disciplined works as well for health, exercise & diet as well as money.
I'm still waiting for my new hat to arrive so will add that to my sig when it does & I decide to keep it.
Be good all

Right this went very badly,
Jeans from Topshop £38
Jacket from topshop £60
Dress from topshop £15
Jumper from warehouse £30
Total spend £143:o:(
I am now eyeing up a book on complulsive shopping. Seriously.
The only good news is I recieved a £100 giftcard for a major store. So I have designated that as emergency clothes money. But as I already have a bulging wardrobe, it is going to have to be one hell of an emergency.
I didn't realise how bad my shoppping habits were until I joined this forum. I am determined to get them in check.0 -
I'm not sure you've quite got the hang of this challenge yet :undecided
I'm giving you a D minus & a 'must try harder'0
