New Year New Me, the journey continues.........

And on a positive note, the Richard Bandler book that I got free, is helping me to be more positive. Instead of sinking into a depression about the above, it is making me more determined to fight against these people, and more grateful that after this year, I will never have to deal with them again.
I like the Paul Coehlo reference to a £5 note. The note had been screwed up, dropped, walked over, and yet it still had its original value. And for all the battering I'm taking right now, I too have worth.

Ok so I'm over the ebay "trauma". I'm getting debt free this year, by whatever means it takes and I will not be prevented from reaching my goal.
I'm a strong person, and a fighter and I'm not going to let this beat me.
Hope you have a good day everyone.
Got to go now, I have a day of being fabulous, ahead of me.
xx

dammit dammit dammit!!!!
Decided on friday night to take some more photos of one of my ebay items, and now I can't find it. The auction has ended and I need to post it out. Tore the house apart last night, so just hoping that I took it to work and put it in one of my bags I left there. How annoying. Grrrrr!!!

Yay.
5 days to go until I clear Barclaycard. This is very significant. For the first time in 6 years I will have cleared a credit card completely, and actually by paying it off, not just balance transferring it. Wahoooooo.
7 more payments left on the loan, and about 8 more payments to Virgin card, and I'm done, dusted, forever, wahooooooooooooooo!!!!
Also I have a mammoth box of maltesers to get through this weekend. It's a tough task, but someone has to do it!!

Well today has been a day of developments, I've experienced the extremes of all emotions today, being really excited, being really disappointed and down and being really angry. Whoa what a rollercoaster that was, no wonder I'm finding it hard to get off to sleep. The excited part was that I have an interview at a large employer. After constructing what I thought was a really cocky sounding application just for a laugh, it seems to have gotten me somewhere. Don't get me wrong, I do have the experience, but I doubt that the job will pay me enough to warrant the travel. The whole point of this is to go through the experience of having the interview and so on, and it has been a confidence booster even getting through to this stage.
The other part. I went to an agency tonight on the recommendation of OH. It was not a pleasant experience. I basically had the guy interrogate me and pull apart my cv, questionning my career moves and constantly reminding me that the market is stagnant at the minute and this was all for a job that is an interim move to the career I want to get into and would involve me taking a pay cut. Well do you know what that is absolute crap. What a waste of my time. He didn't seem to understand what it was I do, because it wasn't his area and dismissed half my experience because it didn't mean anything to him. I came out feeling completely dejected and p'd off. In fact it has made me so angry, I've spent all evening mulling it over, and I can't sleep now.
How dare he!!!! And for his information there are jobs out there. He just didn't want to take a gamble on someone with an untraditional route because he wanted a guarantee on his commission.
Well you know what? I'm the best person suited to finding myself a job. I'm the person who managed to pass the application stage and psychometric testing stage for a job with the foreign office, and I'm the one who managed to go for a job interview and beat all the other candidates 80 in all for the job I have now, and that was when I was on garden leave from a previous job when I had all that stress and illness related to it going on. Now if I have the strength to do that, then I can sure as hell get myself the job I want. I don't need some preppy little gel haired oik to tell me what I can and cannot do.
I thrive on proving those people wrong who say things can't be achieved, and if that means I'm only suited to running my own business, then that is the thing that I need to do. I will not change my core beliefs, and undervalue the hard work I have put in so far because of this. Just the fact that I have this interview proves that.
I have inspired people at work today to go out and do things and think about what they want today. Now that is really special.
And although having to buy my train ticket to go to this job interview means that I won't clear my Barclaycard in full this month, this is of a different value to my life, because I am having new experiences.
I do hope sleep comes soon, or tomorrow is going to be a long day
