So another item listed on ebay. I've fully attuned my mind to the fact that I don't need this stuff anymore. I've taken a look at the mortgage free wannabe board to get inspired. Although I don't even have a mortgage yet, I want to be in the frame of mind of being careful with my money, and the benefits that this can bring. Today is the first day of the rest of my life.

This week I've decided that I'm going to look at some other ways of relaxing-such as meditation. This is something I haven't tried before. I'm not sure if my behaviour is obsessive but I fret about everything. I have checked ebay at least 6 times today to see if my things have bids on, and there is still 6 days to go. I do this with everything, keep checking and trying to plan things that I can't control, because I need a desired outcome and on some level maybe I think checking will make it come round a bit quicker?
I cannot relax, i recognise this. I struggle to sit and watch tv, infact I always have to be multi tasking, I'm always doing something on my laptop whilst watching tv (oh crap, I'm doing that now). I haven't watched a DVD for ages because I can't just sit there and relax. I think this is where the eating and wanting a drink come in, I either have to distract myself with tasty food, or literally knock myself out with having a drink (only one or two glasses mind, i don't like a hangover).
This weekend has been a real test, about an hour ago I wanted a glass of wine in the bat. OH wouldn't open another one as we had already had a bottle during the week. I felt fidgety, and couldn't even concentrate enough to read my book.
I have tonnes and tonnes of toiletries and lipglosses even though I don't wear makup on most days-this is because I like to see lots of stuff around me, because I have a fear of running out of something. I do this with clothes and shoes, and anything really, because I think I can control my fears by shopping, eating, buying. Ultimately I have ended up in debt, and stressed out with the amount of clutter around me. I have been waiting to use the last bubble bath in my last bottle all week. I finally did it just now, and felt a bit panicky as I threw the bottle away.
In order to get debt free and stay debt free, I need to understand the reasons behind my behaviours, and once I have tackled these, only then can I say that I am a changed person.

Hi,
how's your stuff going on ebay?0 -
Good thanks frugal.
Just remembered, it only two more weeks until cc1 becomes £0. My first target. I'm really going to enjoy calling them up to close the account.

Hi,
good, do that and cut up the card.0 -
Already done. It was cut up well over a year ago. Absolutely no temptation to use it whatsoever.
