Hi! I want to put on ebay one thing everyday and anything above it is a bonus. I've got about about 10 items listed now.

Woohoo! I've sold my first item on ebay and the buyer paid within seconds of it ending! £46 profit! So pleased I subscribed to this and you all posted your comments otherwise I'd never have kept up the motivation to go for it. Have another 2 items on at the moemnt, not doing anything, but I will go through the cupboards in the morning and see what is about to sell. The item I sold was on a 3 day listing!

Thanks Amara, that first item has been a huge boost, so tomorrow is a hunt for treasure! Only thing is my DD2 has a room full of toys but refuses to let me get rid of things from years ago, it's a constant battle. I did, whilst raking through a drawer, find a £20 ToysR us voucher, so I'm thinking I can maybe bribe her by clearing out her room and then letting her choose something new, then putting the lot on Ebay! Hehe (Evil laugh!)

Well I'm up to 25 listings so far with LOADS more to go lol. Have managed to clear all the bags and boxes in our hallway upstairs which is a miracle! You can actually see through the stair railings now!! (been blocked by boxes since we moved here 2 years ago Im ashamed to say!) Still have the top half of the hallway to do tonight and hopefully get that cleared!

Made sure I've put up some big things today while I've remembered so have a few starting at £40 and £50 - within 10 mins of one going up at £50 I have a watcher already :D

Will probably keep selling until around 10.30pm - then will set some up as scheduled postings and start the listing first thing in the morning so at least they are all ready to go! As I havent been sleeping well all this week Im hoping to keep going til around 3am - 4am!

Up to 40 now and still going strong, will probably keep listing until I go to bed about 12am, not too bothered about what time things are going to end just need to get as much listed as possible.

125 & now I have a bad head! Think I might have to stop for today & start again tomorrow with a fresh head!!!!
  • 34 listed so far, just taken the next lot of photo's so am going to work my way through those now.

How long are you all listing for? I have done some 5 day and 10 day listings, I don't want to do 7 day as it means finishing next Saturday and I don't think Saturday is a good day for ending listings. Tomorrow I will do 7 and 10 day listings.

I read somewhere that Sunday evening is the best time to finish an auction, but who knows! I think a 10 day listing is too long, people will lose interest or forget about it. I think 3-5 days is the sweet spot, making sure some of it goes over a weekend.

Lots of people say Sunday is a good day to end listings but I've never found that, in fact I've hardly ever sold much on a Sunday, I will have to have some finish on a Sunday when I list tomorrow as I'll have to do 7 and 10 day auctions, don't want to do 5 day auctions as Friday is a bad day to have things finish although maybe I can do some in the morning to finish on a Friday morning, I just find evening times the best when people are at home.
