    Hi Guys

First of all Happy New year to you all!

Looks like I have to join this again this year as I fell off the wagon last time :o. I don't really have a target as such but I'm hoping to make £300 this month so I don't go into my overdraft.

I have loads of junk, in fact, I have a whole room dedicated to it but I'm having trouble organising it all for easy ebaying. I have loads of clothes but it needs ironing etc. Lots of shoes to go and just lots of everything in general. I think that is what puts me off sometimes from ebaying because I don't know where to start :o. Any tips and suggestions welcome.

Also, can someone please send me the official link for the free listing this weekend. I haven't received the email as usual so want to double check the t&cs to see if its invitation (or open to all private sellers) only like they did a few times last year.

I am currently loading up turbo lister ready to go for Sunday so will aim to have atleast 30 things listed by then . Hopefully the free listing weekend will let me use tubolister.

Lots of good advice already on here and i'd like to second buying post bags on ebay, I think mine work out to be about 6p each so helps to minimise my postage costs and make my items more attractive.

    Happy Ebaying

I have the same problems with motivation. We have a whole room of things which need to be eBayed. The only way I can manage is to go in with a box, fill it and do that lot first. When I am finished I will go back for another box. If you try and do it all at once I don't get anywhere
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

I reported someone who had copied my photo the other day, someone bought the item before it was pulled but when I checked about 2 days after I reported it it said that the listing had been removed so don't know if they said anything to the seller.

The copier has had their listing removed today! Had an email in from Ebay overnight; surprised they moved that fast. I am sure they must tell the seller why their listing has been removed???? But not sure what they would do after the listing has ended?

    Hi again!

Thank you all for the replies on where you get your packaging from. I've bought some mailing bags on ebay and looking to get some bubble wrap.

I've got another question - how do you prepare the listing to upload later?! Is there some kind of software you use, or do you prepare your text in word beforehand and then past it in when you want to start the listing? Or do you pay the 6p for delayed start?

Hope that's clear - thanks again for all your advice!

I use turbolister which allows you to prefill all the information in your own time and load it onto ebay in one go.

    Have a look here

There are also other tools available which may be useful depending of the quantities you sell.

  • Hi everyone

Glad that everyone is doing so well

I haven't got started yet as have been poorly with flu since Monday, :eek:thought I was getting better on Wednesday but the runny nose started and then had shivers again last night and felt really rough so now giving in and spending the day in bed.

So much for getting my ebay business off the ground lol, never mind health is more important.

Will catch up later as my eyes are hurting looking at the screen.

soooo annoying that its only a windows based piece of software - no good for us Mac users!!! I'm not a big seller so the other ones aren't really suitable I don't think.

    Thanks for the advice though!

Unless anyone else can suggest something else I think I might have to pay the 6p - I suppose its not that much is it!
