Well done - that's fantastic! :jYour biggest asset is TIME! I'm focused on multi-generational financial freedom.0 -
Welcome purpleroses and idlesaver!:T
Congrats on everyone's totals too!
My ads just finished today and so I logged into to Paypal to see that they;ve put my account on hold because I've have more than £1900 added to my account this calendar year. Then there's a link telling me that they need more info which I've filled out (checks beside each item) and it's still telling me that my account is blocked. Grrrrr...will have to call tomorrow to see what's up:mad: or maybe just wait until it's removed Feb 10th.!!!!!! Make Me Rich This Year eBay & Gumtree

Fab thanks Aesop!
slipper75 I got that in 2012 I posted about it at some point because I got confused about lifting the limits on my paypal account. It worked for me though - when I added the information though they lifted my limits....give them a call - you dont want that stopping you in your tracks0 -

did you get an email aesop? i cant see it anywhere on ebay announcements etc
My listings are ending in 2 days so that will work well for any unsold items
Will also make an effort to list 20 new items
My mum & brother are waiting me to list things for them - usually im ok with it, but kinda bugs me that they dont even offer me a few quid for doing all the leg work! Am I being greedy?!
I have also just realised that I can only list 55 items for the rest of the month. Is that just because of the last flw ending on 1st jan - its obviously eaten into this months allowance0 -
I didn't get the email someone else on.mse did. They usually get them on the wed and I get it on fri.0

I didn't get the ebay email either, but the link on the "free listing" mse thread worked and confirmed itYour biggest asset is TIME! I'm focused on multi-generational financial freedom.0

Fab, I'd been hoping this weekend would be a Free Listing Weekend
Whoop whoop. got lots of bits to shift, that I wasn't able to sort ready for the free-listing week starting boxing day. Fingers crossed we all get some good sales! I am loving how decluttered my house is starting to feel too, although there's a long way to go!!
Also, my friend has asked me to sell some stuff on ebay for her, we thought that it could work if I take a percentage of the final value fee. Does anybody else do this for friends and family? If so, what proportion to you keep, and would this make you a business rather than a private seller?Total money owed: [STRIKE]31/07/11- £17,877[/STRIKE], LBM - 14/10/12 :j, 01/06/13 - £0 DEBT FREE!!!!
New challenge- save an extra £5000 from non-salary -£1600 (32%)0 -

i don't think you're being greedy at all Credit_crunch. I would push back because as they say, time is money and it's not without effort that we all make the sales we do. Also, it sounds as if it's eating into your own personal listing allowance so that's another reason to charge.
I think professional sellers/trading assistants as ebay calls them (who do it all for you) take anywhere from 25-45% of the profit so I think the least they could do is offer you something ie dinner, coffee if not actual ££!!!!!! Make Me Rich This Year eBay & Gumtree
