I am often posting to United States, Australia and Germany, Ireland. Not had any problems. (Am crossing my fingers!) These buyers are actually very polite and leave lovely feedback!
Hadnt been doing too well on the Buy It Now items put on last week but have now woken up to 3 sales :)

I am seriously considering closing my ebay account today - i am sooooooo fed up with it! I have just discovered a buyer who claimed they didn't receive their item left me negative feedback saying i pretended to post it!!!!! I told them i had a proof of posting for this when they told me it hadn't arrived and i refunded them. The reason for the feedback apparently was because i refunded them too quickly!!!!!!!! Dear God I HATE ebay!!!!!!!!!!

    Sorry for the rant!!!

Thats what i thought! It was one of those ones i just knew they were going to be annoying cos of the tone of their message and i just thought for the sake of 99p + postage just refund them straight away to save any hassle - i swear i wish i had made them beg for it now :rotfl::rotfl:

Hello I am new to this thread.
I have been doing ebay for a number of years but still consider myself to be a novice.
Something which I have been struggling with is guessing how much items on ebay are going to cost to post. I sold a pair of shoes on there the other week and charged 2.99 P&P and when i went to post it, it cost 4.70!!! Thats not counting the materials I used to wrap the item. Does anyone have any tips for guessing the weight of items please? I have some more shoes to sell and feel a bit cheeky charging a fiver for P&P. Unless I include the extra couple of pounds in the price.
Someone on another thread has suggested i invest in some scales. Would normal bathroom scales be okay or would i need some different ones? I am not sure what the post office weigh things in. Is it in KGs?

Replied to you on the £10 a day thread hun but thought I may as well briefly mention it here too.
You need kitchen scales instead, things are done in g / kgs.

Angel Rachie - I bought a kitchen scale off of ebay shipped from hongkong for about £4 and it works great. It's cheap and cheerful and has always been within 10g of what I get from the post office. The main issue I have is that I often have to push the on button 5-6times to get it to come on but given it was so cheap I won't complain. It's this one on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/LUPO-Precision-Digital-Kitchen-Scales/dp/B004HTCYDG/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1338720404&sr=8-10 and here's one for just over £5 from a UK seller - id-290630344066.

    Hope eveyone is busy listing....;)

I got stuck at 1 point. I had scheduled 1 BIN item for future date but now I want to send to auction but I can't see "send to auction" button anywhere. Or I tried to revise that listing but still can't see any option for auction.

    Any idea please????

    TIA

Good luck for ebay sales everyone xx
