I have a few prepared ready to go live tomorrow night and by the looks of things, I will have some more items to relist. One item that I accidentally listed to finish at 6pm this evening sold, which was a relist, so I am pleased about that.

If I can drag myself into the shed and shift several large boxes tomorrow, I might get more items up. I must say, I am getting a bit burnt out again.

Lots of my listings from last weekend are selling, which is great. The stuff that's been round a few times was going to go to the charity shop after this time, but given it's another FLW, I might give it one more shot.

Can I ask you good folks how to go about doing something? I got asked for a BIN price for one of my items that was due to finish tomorrow. No bids, 3 watchers, I figured it probably wasn't going to do anything special, so said £10 to get it shifted (it had been listed at £7.99). The buyer said 'fine', and then I realised I didn't know what to do next! So I revised the listing to include a BIN... but apparently BIN prices have to be 40% higher than your auction starting price. So I've had to lower my auction start price to £5.99 and add the BIN at £10, then e-mail my buyer to say 'please buy it asap before someone else bids'... surely that can't be the right way to do it? Could someone tell me the right way for the future? Thx

Lannie Duck - thats the way I did it when I got asked for similar!
Hope she clicks on the BIN otherwise you have to pay a fee for it...

Ended up not doing anything ebay wise yesterday (apart from buying!) so am now going to settle into preparing some listings for tonight. Wish me luck! :)

Hmmmm difficult one - buyer shouldn't be asking you to change your listing to suit them. When I am asked I give a polite NO. I am happy to let the auction run, type of answer. If they want it then they will buy it at 7.99 or indeed £10 if they are OK with that. If an item doesnt sell and they are watcher and you relist they will be notified so if they really want it they will buy - well thats my take on it anyway! It will have cost you to change your listing. Similarly I am never tempted by those emails that say I really wanted to buy your item but missed the end of the auction please sell it to me - I tell them I will relist and if they want to take a chance............

Hope they buy it - or you get a bidding war:rotfl:

Is it generally frowned on to add a BIN on request then? I've heard of it happening, but never had the request myself before. I assumed it was ok if no-one had already bid.

Luckily my buyer responded promptly and bought my item for £10, but I'll definitely be more reluctant to add a BIN in the future now I know how risky it is.

If you want to change it for yourself that OK but I dont think it is looked on favourably when buyer asks to change it in their favour - so the buyer is at fault. I just avoid all that doesn't sound right at all times IYSWIM.

47 items listed although some are from last weekends FL and will finish tomorrow night. Bit of a bidding war going on at the mo with an item I listed for 99p - nuts! But its all in a good cause:D

Sounds good Igamogam, I wish I had a bidding war on my hands!

Sophiasmum, wish mine had bids :( Only one that was a relist and due to finish in 2 days has one bid at 99p. All the rest due to finish in less than 24 hours haven't got a single bite. So frustrating.

Managed to list a grand total of ..... drum roll please!.......2 items this evening!! Guess I'm feeling kind of disheartened at the lack of bids from last weekend's free listing that I've lost the momentum. Both got watchers within 10 minutes of listing though so that's something. I'm expecting them to do well though as they're pretty popular items.

Just spent £35 of my Ebay money though :o A shelving unit for the boy's bedroom that I intended to get anyway. But still....spending it before I'd intended to.
