    Hi
I've lots of stuff to list on Ebay, most items are new clothes some of which I have in several sizes.

Do I list each item seperately or do I list 1 item and state that it comes in sizes 12/14/16 etc.?

I know listing together will save fees but does it sell as well?

If you have several of the same but in different sizes you can set variations (which comes up just under the title when listing - create size variations and put a quantity of 1, or however many, for each variation you have. This works for Buy It Nows, not sure about auctions though

Thankyou JesaRose and Sparkle, i logged in to message her and she'd already paid so that's now parcelled and ready to go tomorrow.

I have written myself a note in my ebay book (how sad am i?!) that in future i need specify in listings that i wish to be paid within 5 days.

    Thanks again

    xx

You're welcome. You can put it in sellers payment instructions and it should then always remember it each time you list

  • Hi again, sorry to ask loads of questions. I was considering printing postage at home for quickness however I'm always worried that people will claim items aren't delivered if I don't go to the post office and get proof of postage/use registered mail/special delivery (for higher value items)

What method of postage do you use?

The monsoon dress didn't sell... 3rd time listed. Not sure whether to re-list straight away or wait?

I've got a bet for cookies going with a guy at work that I can't sell a paperclip... one the same as the one I've listed sold for 99p yesterday so fingers crossed! Although, with the lack of sales this year so far I'm not sure either!

I always take mine to the Post office and get p.o.p. but in the past i've printed off the postage online and then just taken the parcels to the post office and got proof of posting, but I suppose you still have to queue if you do that (just you don't hold up the queue as long!)

I sold 5x more items tonight :) Just for tiny amounts but nice to see the back of them. Wish they'd hurry up and pay so I can get them packaged up.
  • Yay I sold my first item!!! :j:j:j

Just the 1 bid but I'd put a starting price of £9.99 so I'm happy enough with that. Still can't list on ebay on this computer though which is incredibly frustrating & I've found that only iphones & not android ones can list.

So I need to wait for opportunities to nick my DH's laptop (not easy as he's attached to it most of the time ;)

  • Ooh I also forgot that one of the items listed on my works noticeboard has sold, so another tenner there. :j

How much are you starting the auction at? Perhaps consider lowering the start price and that may attract more bidders. If I see something I really like and its start price is for example £9.99 I may put it in the watch but wouldn't bid, yet if it was a start price of £4.99 etc I would be tempted to bid on it and would go £10 and above.

I know that sounds silly, but it's a pyschological (sp?) thing. People like to think they are getting a bargain (or at least the chance of one)

I've been starting it at £9.99. I guess That could be where I'm going wrong? What do you think, should I list again straight away?
