See if you can make it a game with DGD! I know I have to do my basic ones before I get out of bed. If I don't, I'm doomed ...Signature removed for peace of mind0

I have been asking, every time I go to the doctors. They keep telling me I am on the waiting list. But I will continue to shout.
Making it a game with DGD is a good idea. I will give that a go.
Right I am so tired, I have been hopping around mse and ebay! So I better stop. Get to bed and try and sleep.

Well the sun is shining here this morning. Which is a good start. That always helps me feel brighter.
DGD woke me at 7am which is not too bad.
Been on here since, which is bad. Paid for the few bits I had on Ebay. Must stay off of Ebay, as I am tempted to look at either Cath Kidston stuff or sewing stuff! Not good, cos that then leads to bids.
I have a few bags to start to make this week. Think that I will be more confident with the zips and things on some of the requested bags. Certainly going to make a mock up of one, and start the other. See how they go. Thats my mission for this week. Along with any hearts etc that I can do to fill in and use up fabric remenants that I think will sell. I have noticed a lot of little hearts in simple fabrics like felt, and hessian. (Where are those grain sacks when you need them!!haha). Right I will have to think about doing the pretty ones first, then doing the simple ones with fabrics from clothes, trousers etc, and upcycle them with smaller fabric hearts, or squares and embroidery threads and buttons.
See I am already in the creative mode.
Molly is coming over for a cuppa at about 10 this morning. Looking forward to that as its been a long week while she has been on holiday. Lack of adult company was well noted.
Time for the jobs to start. Washing machine first. Wash up the dishes next.
Cant think beyond that. Or it will depress me thinking about it, and I need to keep my creative head on, to keep going.
The arm is not 100% so I obviously need to sit and sew in a different position, and hold DGD2 less!! eek.
Have a good day everyone.
I am hoping to keep positive, and try and make some money before the holiday in 2 weeks time. Another Eek moment.
Still watching the pennies is something all of us on MSE are quite good at. Problem is watching them leave, rather then receive! oops. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Did you get your exercise done?0

Did you get your exercise done?
Nope not today so far. Think it will have to be a bit later. By the time I had cut out the sewing orders this morning is over, and I am a bit too sore. I have a heat pad on my upper back for the last 20 minutes. Going to have a cup of tea and see if I feel a bit better. I will then have a go at some basic exercises.
I will report back when I have managed.:oWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Can I ask where you got your heat pad for your shoulder because I have a frozen shoulder? Can I also ask where you got the cover for your washing line and how much did it cost? My electric bill has went up £13 a month so I was wondering if there was any way that I could have the tumble dryer on less often this autumn and winter to possibly reduce it.
Please don't feel obliged to answer any of my questions.0 -

Molly kindly leant me a heat pad, which is plugged into the electricity like a mini electric blanket. Its about 12" x 15" ish.
Then I bought one on the internet, think it was ebay? about £12.99
The cover for the rotary drier is from a company called Rotair I think. l will go and get you the link.
The cover for mine was £39.99. But I have hardly used a tumbledryer since I moved here. Infact the kids have my tumbledryer, but the washingmachine does have a tumble facility, but its not brilliant.
But the cover has been marvelous. the only problem is if there are high winds and you dont take it down, it could launch across the garden! Mine has come off twice. But that could be as my pole is not in the ground very tightly.
The dryer can be colapsed with the cover on, and it has a cover with it. But I am not strong enough to put it up again.
So I need to have help, and tend to leave it up. :rotfl:When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Hope that the powers that be dont mind me giving that information.? It is a money saving product afterall.
I must have saved a massive amount, as I wash at least 3 loads a day, and I used to tumble it all, as i couldnt get to and from theline often enough. Especially if it was a bit rainy, iffy. Now I can leave the washing out, even in a heavy rain fall, and it doesnt get any wetter, and it actually does dry off more. It will be damp, if it was already damp, but if it was dry, it often stays dry. (Except very close to the screen on it, as that is like a fishing net, the rain can get in if its coming at a slant. But I dont tend to use the last couple of bits of line on my washing line, if you get what I mean.).
