    ok my go......
    oct 31st:
    luton-marrakesh 24th jan-31st jan 2 adult one child

    total £186.75 inc taxes

interesting to note also that if i put in just one adult the fare out comes up as £9.99, if i put in 2 adults the fare is £14.99 each, and if i put in 2 adults 1 child it goes up again to £19.99. 3 adults is back down to £14.99, 24 adults and 24 children and the price for each ticket shoots up to £54.99. what strange goings on......hmmm.....

(ps. al mac: 196 days, wtg)

.... this is probably because they will have their systems set to x people = x fares ... when the first x is reached the price climbs ... so and so far forth ... which is normally why if your booking at last minute the fares are higher if all the x capicities have been reached
  • I do most of my Travelling on my own. What you save on the flight, you get hit with on Accommdation

very true, mind you ryanair does hotels too so you could try asking for half a room or tell them you have 24 invisible friends and see what their daft pricing policy comes up with.

so if i book two tickets seperately i get cheaper tickets? or will the price have gone up by the time i get to book the second one if ive tipped the x balance? man this is strange.

... all airlines/tour operators/hotels etc etc will have their own individual polices .... but it works on the lines of this ...

    ... 10 @ x fare .... next 10 xx fare ... next 10 xxx fare and so on ...

... now you could book your first seat seperatley at x fare but at this point 10 has been reached .... so the next fare you book is number 11 and this will be xx fare ...

... some companies, if both bookings are made at the same time may allow booking 10 & 11 to be at x fare and then increase to xx fare from there on ...

... with me own experience tho ... Ryanair would not be one of these companies

... if you were the first person to book on an empty flight for 10 tickets at x fare then you 'may' achieve this .... but if you were the first person to book 200 seats on an empty flight at x fare then this would be economical suicide for the carrier so more often than not the fare would default to xxxx fare

... x fares are there to encourage the 'maydo' passengers .... xxxxxxx fares are there for the 'oh my god I have to fly passengers'

I agree with the above. I've often purchased two tickets seperately i.e two bookings to avoid paying both at the xx rate - so one at x and one at xx stops you going into the next increase price for both tickets!
  • so how come 2 adults and 1 child is £19.99 x 3, but 3 adults is £14.99 x 3?
is this because the 2 adults are 'may-dos' but the child is 'i have to fly' otherwise it gets left at home eating out of the cats bowl and hiding from the postman?

it is sort of how budget airlines work. u can buy a ticket for a penny if you book in advance enuff but they make their muni from last minute bookings. book a hol 3 munfs on nd compare the price wit a flight next week

Yeah, it's not just RyanAir. I always delete cookies before making a new booking.

.... possibly the correct answer .... but please don't leave your poor child at home ... my cat wolfs everything down in two minutes flat and the bowl is empty ... and believe me 'nothing would come between my pu$$y and his food' :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
