And boys?
I'm glad that you'll keep posting :T
£3.85 spent in Mr S today on bacon, mushrooms and pasta. I noticed that the Stilton is OOD so I need to think of ways to use it up. I'll do pasta, bacon, mushrooms and Stilton. I'm not a big fan of pastry so that rules out quiches and the like, but I'm thinking of doing a Broccoli and Stilton soup. I've never ate it before so I think it will be nice.
I'll take some to work in wraps and salad as well I guess...
A quick question - Stilton is mouldy so the OOD date of the 5th December really shouldn't make THAT much of a difference should it? I mean - it's mouldy anyway?
the stilton will be fine, have a linkie about itNonny mouse and Proud!!

Hi- I'm allowing £250 for this month and am trying to make it last as long into February as I can - 7 days so far and £130 spent (but it was a big monthly shop). Happily we've still got plenty of mince pies left and I've just been given half a bag of spuds off someone's allotment! This year's all about being positive!Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

:)Evening all, I had my first grocery delivery of the year. I spent £115.96 so this should keep us going for a good part of the next 2 weeks. I also had my first veg box delivery today (that came out of last months budget as I paid for it last week when I placed the order)
I was really impressed with with my box. Lots of goodies in it and I am going to make an effort to make some different meals this week as we get so used to the same dishes. I just need to find a way to hide the celeriac:) I also spent £4.00 in the Co0p today so I feel that I'm not doing too badly so far:jDebt Oct 2006 £42,215.21 at highest. Debt Today £0.000 -
Had another NSD today. Made toad in the hole for tea tonight, never made it before, and was quite pleased how it turned out, will make again, was scrummy:D. Also used up half a cabbage that was lurking in the fridge. I'm amazed how many meals I've managed to make this week without popping to the shops.MFW 142- Oct 1999 £55,0000, Jul 2013 £27,593.17 Oct 2013 £26,531, Dec 2014 £22,600, Dec 2015 £20,190, Jan 2016 £19,944.19 Mar 2017 £16,944.76 Decluttered 207/2018

I jave been doing not too badly this month so far - ok its only the 6th and we are at £88,out of my £200 but thats enough shopping for next two weeks and £20 was wasted on a take away tonight - everyone else wanted a 'chippy' and they never complain about my thrifty ways so decided to go with it, will tighten my belt a bit to make up for it.
Good luckEvery days a School day!0
