How many of you peeps include eating out in your grocery challenge?
As you can see, I've gone slightly over anyway, but am out for lunch today and debating with myself as to whether to count it as an entertainment spend or a grocery spend... Decisions decisions...0 -
January has been a disaster of a month. Not in terms of grocery spending but in terms of counting up how much I have spent. I know I'm well under budget, mainly because I've hardly bought a thing, but I don't know how much I have (or haven't) spent, and I have spent far too much on other stuff and ended the month about £300 overdrawn.
I get paid tomorrow and i promise I will try and be more organised.:money:0 -
Entertainment spend!
^^^^
Had a very spendy day yesterday and have used up nearly 2 weeks budget but have got a lot of stuff in the freezer so going to claw it back over the next couple of weeks :S Just trying to educate the kids that they can't just keep eating the food in the house when they feel like it, that it is all part of my big budgeting plan!"Sealed Pot challenge" member No 1099 2011/£26.00:j

I do know I spent £15 in the Icy place so will add that to my spend total, along with another tenner for milk so am declaring £100 for Jan. My target for Feb is keep it under £200, hopefully declaring at under £150 in 4 weeks time.
Good work everybody else :beer:0 -
I'm declaring for January. Actual food costs were £130.17 but used some gift card money and Nect@r points so actual money spent was £99.61. so either way, under my budget of £140. Did have stuff from Christmas so that would have helped and not been cooking as much soup as normal (will get back on track).
I don't include meals out, often they're bought for me  my budget is just food. Credit to those who have budget of £50 a month:TGC - Oct £36.17/£31
GC - Sep £35.56/£30:o
GC - Aug £30.73/£31
GC - Jul £30.80/£310 -
Declaring for Jan at £81.57/£900
