Popped to the shop and spent £8.15, but got enough for about another week of meals if you don't mind them all the same lol. Up to 60.57 spend so now have 89.43 left.

  • Hi all :)

Spent just under £90 at Mr T's today and that has all meals until the end of the month (and some extras just in case!) sorted. This leaves me with £80 for fresh stuff, bargains, whoopsies etc :j

Hope you are all having a good day :D

I only joined in yesterday, and so far I need to dig out my receipts from the beginning of Jan. As far as I can remember I've been to mr S's twice, last week's was a massive stock up, and been this morning with a list and stuck to it but saw a few things I'd missed off the list as usual, but I feel good that I didn't even think about buying anything else. Had to pop to the local Co-op for milk yesterday and a couple of bits and OH went to the Spar on Sunday and wasted £2 on a packet of ham that looks like no ham I've ever eaten before and there's no way I'm even going to open the packet! For once I forgot to say 'only buy ham if it looks nice', so he bought it of course.... bless him. He'll soon learn :)

I'll get my receipts out and update this post with my total spend in Jan so far, then I'll sort out my sig :)

Morning all :) a NSD today! I am rather hungry though so may make myself something for lunch quite soon! Got lots of spring cleaning to do today and at some point between now and tomorrow I will need to go to homebase to get some compost for the tree I have coming tomorrow for my birthday :)

Anyway best be off! Have a good day all :)

  • Thought I would make it to Thurs without any more spends but the dog's going through his food like it's going out of fashion so I'll have to pick some more up on the way home. Plus some diet coke for me as I'm going through that like it's going out of fashion, lol.

I've also started doing NDDs (No Drinking Days rather than No Spend Days which never worked for me lol!). I got in the habit of drinking a glass or two of vino every night when I got in from work and it was really hurting my GC, not to mention my waistline and health! I'm hoping to save at least £15-20 per month by seriously reducing the amount I drink at home :)

  • Needed a few more bits today and stocked the freezer £34.30 spent. So still not doing brilliantly, and if I continue to spend at this rate, won't stay within budget. Must try harder! Can't believe how quickly we go through bread and milk. It's mainly the children-but they are only small! (4 and 2!!)
