We are a family of 2 adults and three kids (10, 8 and 5) and my budget is £200. I have done this before and know it can be done relatively easily, just have to make lots from scratch and be creativeHTH x

More spends today - £5.00 in £land (Douwe Egberts ground coffee 150g for £1), £8.38 in Holland & Barrett (can't do without my vitamins!) and £3.74 in Mr M. DH also decided that he wanted a newspaper, so that was another £1.60 gone! It's going to be sooooo tight for the rest of the month, but I'm determined not to go over budget!
Cooked my whoopsied chicken in SC today, with lemon and garlic - absolutely yummy! Will make a curry from the leftover meat and utilise the carcass for stock, then make a soup. All in all, not bad for a £3 chook AND something I would never have contemplated doing before joining this thread - thank you!! :T

Hi All,
Been to Mr A today, stocked up on some good offers for the store cupboard, so now my freezer and cupboards are bursting at the seams, next week I really shouldn't need to buy anything, except some milk. I've stocked up this week in Mr Co- they've had 600g of mature cheddar for £3, which I thought was good, and as we use quite a lot of cheese I now have four blocks in the freezer.
I've not had many NSD's, but I blame that on my new years resolution to drink more water, as I'm out on the road all day, I've had to have a LOT more pit stops !!
