I received my Xmas eve order just now too, even though it said estimated delivery on 5th January, items were nicer than they appeared online!0

For anyone who ordered early hours and didn't get the discount on everything although they were at the time advertisingToday Online Only - 30% off All SALE Prices
I emailed M&S and got a reply to the effect that the 30% is only off Selected items. I've just phoned them and they have applied the 30% discount to all items on my orders and for the cost of the call there is a £5 credit going on my account.0 -

that's great Shirley! what number did you ring?0 -
The numbers given in the email were 0845 609 0200 or +44 1925 672 317 if you’re calling from overseas. I rang the latter because it's cheaper and they transferred me internally.0

I'm still waiting for earlier M&S sale orders to be processed and have just cancelled a couple of items off these orders and I've now had the 30% taken off the total cost for the remaining sale items - so if you're still waiting for an order placed before today and cancel something it should hopefully reduce the total amount you pay. HTH0

Does anyone know what time they're open until? I can't get through
I got told to wait until it arrives and to ring again hmmm tempted to try again tomorrow and hopefully get to speak to someone else.War does not determine who is right - only who is left.0 -

This was the person who emailed me saying they would apply the promotional offer - Carol McLoughlin Referral Manager.
Have just sent a reply saying I hope they will be applying this discount to everyone who had their order cancelled.
TBH this is the last in a long line of errors on my M&S orders - 3 lots of flowers never delivered, orders delivered with items missing and taking over 3 months to get a refund on one of the missed flower deliveries. I think I've come to the end of my patience with M&S online.
M&S has always relied heavily on their reputation and they are a long way down the road of losing it; partly from the apppaling online service, but also from the quality of the things in their stores.
I saw an acrylic mix jumper in the sale at £9 yesterday they were originally selling for £39.50p! Their Per Una stuff (which I was a great fan of) is now primarily shoddily made, acrylic, polyester or nylon - they slap a necklace on it and ask £35.
They have lost their way in terms of style and are charging premium prices for lacklustre goods.
Yet you still keep buying from them - a tad hypocritical methinks!Gone ... or have I?0
