Furniture & electrical are not in the sale & also full priced items that are the same but different sizes to sale items do not get 30% deducted. Not Again0 -

Hi,
There's a star next to the 30% off:
[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] Up to 50% off selected items plus a further 30% off all clothing and homeware in the Sale. Further 30% applies online only. Excludes technology and furniture. Subject to availability. See individual items for details. Sale items are excluded from the store collection service. Prices shown include a discount of up to 50% and a further 30% will apply at checkout.
Frankly I'd be happy if they just dispatched my order from Xmas eve!
Cheers,
BatCat

I've been corresponsing with M&S after they refused to fulfil my order of a Celebrate hamper and escalated it to accusing them of false advertising and reporting them to Trading Standards (which I have done). They were still showing 50% off displayed price which was £37.50. I have kept a screen shot of it.
I have had an email from them this morning that they will apply a £18.75 credit to my account if I want to re-order the hamper. Quite frankly after this, I wouldn't trust them to organise a prayer meeting in the Vatacan, so will be replying asking if they will be doing this for everyone who has been misled.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

I emailed them about this too (as after 40mins they still hadn't picked up the phone) and all I got was a lousy email to say they would notify their website team to let them know my concerns. -As I also mentioned the fact that I had £100 worth of stuff in my basket after clicking through their '30% off ALL sale items' yet it only reduced to £88.50 at the checkout. I wonder how many people have over paid believing they have got 30% off?
(And I know this doesn't include electricals etc, I only had things like scarves, glasses etc in my basket)
M&S =

This was the person who emailed me saying they would apply the promotional offer - Carol McLoughlin Referral Manager.
Have just sent a reply saying I hope they will be applying this discount to everyone who had their order cancelled.
TBH this is the last in a long line of errors on my M&S orders - 3 lots of flowers never delivered, orders delivered with items missing and taking over 3 months to get a refund on one of the missed flower deliveries. I think I've come to the end of my patience with M&S online.
M&S has always relied heavily on their reputation and they are a long way down the road of losing it; partly from the apppaling online service, but also from the quality of the things in their stores.
I saw an acrylic mix jumper in the sale at £9 yesterday they were originally selling for £39.50p! Their Per Una stuff (which I was a great fan of) is now primarily shoddily made, acrylic, polyester or nylon - they slap a necklace on it and ask £35.
They have lost their way in terms of style and are charging premium prices for lacklustre goods.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
