I haven't been on here for a while, thought I'd show those of you that don't follow my blog, my latest make:
It's a jar of jumbo chocolate buttons with smiles drawn on with an icing sugar tube:
The lid and label:
I just made it for my family but it could also be a potential gift.
YUM!I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -

Super makes all of you.
qwiksave -love the jar of smiles..........how do you do the faces with icing ? Does it need to be done with an icing bag or is there an easier way ?I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Yes, there is an easier way!Buy one of those ready made icing tubes, thats what I did!
(I also used a cocktail stick to get it to come off the tube and for corrections).

Hello all! I've come to join you all and start getting some ideas and inspiration for Christmas this year. I found out recently that I'm pregnant and due in December so will be shorter of cash than usual but also pretty sure I won't want to leave everyone's presents til the last minute so if I get started now I'll hopefully save myself some stress
I've done homemade pressies in the past and they've gone down quite well, bags of gold have become something of a tradition now so will do them again this year.
So far my list is:
Sock monkey and some gaming Hama Bead decorations for OH's DS. Plus I always do him a mini sweetie hamper/bag with sour candies and things in.
Turkish Delight for OH and his parents as they both love it.
Crunchy minty winter's bark for my parents
Maybe a small food hamper for my mam and dad with some chese straws and chutney or something in, I bought a book a while ago called 'gifts from the kitchen' and my mam saw it and said she loves stuff like that. Homemade biscuits always go down well too!
I also want to do a homemade advent calender this year too, I've been saying this for the past couple of years and never got round to it, but I think the idea of having it right from baby's first Christmas will push me to do itI love the ones that are like a ribbon with 24 little pockets hanging from it, like these

Heya guys, I'm still here, not really made much due to illness, uni deadlines, uni exams, my friend (25) and her 18 month old died in a horrible car crash, her daughter survived and got out of hospital the day before her 3rd birthday. My heads been completely messed up since Feb when I took unwell. I intend to get in the swing of things once I've sorted the house out.

I made these by piping white chocolate onto those giant chocolate buttons you can get, I took them into a customer service training session and said " Would you like a smile, it is free and it costs me nothing to give it away" and suddenly everyone in the room was smiling.Pucker up and kiss it Whoville! - The Grinch:kiss:0 -
