Door to Door Salesmen on Xmas Day

When I lived in a house I ended up putting a sign telling cold callers not to bother, the reason I put up the sign was to give them the chance to leave without me having to be rude to them, but there were still a handful of idiots who thought they knew better. Quite frankly if you ignore the polite warning you only have yourself to blame if you get told to go f!!! yourself because you've more or less shown that being polite with you doesn't work, so the resident has few alternatives other than to tell you to !!!! off. I personally didn't swear at the idiots who ignored my sign, rather just rubbished what it was they were saying because as ever with door to door sales it was complete crap, but I don't blame people for getting abusive with people who ignore polite requests not to bother the resident.

Not sure about a glazier, such shards of glass wedged in their eyes and limbs might be a bit of a struggle to put back in the windows. I would have to pluck them all out first "one by one", a feat like that would prove quite a challenge, whilst grinding their faces into the shrapnel.

I really dont think them capable of returning, but if they want some more are more than welcome to risk it.

Wasn't a happy old gent with a white beard was it, he usually finishes his normal job christmas morning, things are getting a bit tight everywhere I suppose.

I agree but no where in the OP does it say that such a sign was at the front door.

Its only a matter of time now when these Cold Callers DO dress up as Santa to knock on doors Christmas Day, they will try anything to get homeowners to change there minds and say "Oooh, Yes Please!!!"

Not really that is mild. I will herd them into cattle carts and send them to the gas chambers . That is a fitting punishment for their crimes. Happy now?

I put a sign on my door,just next to the letter box "No Junk Mail or Leaflets!" as we are plagued with it here,despite being on the MPS.

Still doesn't stop the bloody Jahova's Witness's shoving their junk thru my slot every bloody Sunday!

The other thing would be to lynch them and hang them from the nearest tree. Why bother with mere swearing ?
