I received a reply to my e-mail from Groupon who have said that they are going to reimburse the money I spent buying the 3 kits from Hollywood White and advise Hollywood White that the tickets are cancelled (not that I think Hollywood White ever had any intention of sending out the kits!).
As for the 3 x 'next day delivery' costs paid directly to Hollywood White, I have made a claim via Pay Pal so hopefully should get that money back too.
For the record, I once purchased something from Groupon without reading all the small print and after explaining to Groupon that I purchased the item by mistake they agreed without any problem to cancel the order and to refund the money (which I received within a couple of days) so although I believe that Groupon should 'vet' their 'partners' more carefully I do think that as a company they are quite honest and good to deal with.

Well it is beyond ridiculous now.
I was emailed 9 days ago by Groupon to state they had contacted Hollywood White who had dispatched a new kit that same afternoon.
I wanted a refund but thought I'd give them one last chance.
But of course, nothing has arrived and now Groupon are ignoring my emails.
I worked in financial journalism in a past life and am collecting all the details today to send to a contact at Guardian money. Would anyone here be happy to speak to her about your problems?Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -

I can be a pain in the neck when I feel I have been cheated, it is not the amount, it is the principle!
I have sent 3-4 e-mails to Groupon since this all started and, to be fair to them, they have always replied. In my e-mails I also told them I would contact Watchdog and other consumer organisations about the way that Hollywood White were operating.
When I first contacted Groupon about Hollywood White and their inability to deal or communicate with their customers they e-mailed me back to say that they would refund my money if I wanted. After realising that Hollywood White were never going to send the goods I re-contacted Groupon on 26 January and asked them to do just that and I told them that I had requested Paypal to refund the money that I spent on the postage. They replied yesterday evening and I have just this moment received confirmation from Paypal that Groupon have credited me back the money that I spent - so:
'Kudos to Groupon'

No reply from Hollywood White, including two emails sent to Sunny on the e-mail above...
This was my first Groupon experience, not impressed at all...has put me off buying two other deals in the meantime!
Have now sent an e-mail direct to groupon (previously sent one o their email address above but have so far heard nothing) - Would very much like to be refunded if a replacement isn't sent out...

I sent a mail to the [EMAIL="ssupport@groupon.co.uk"]support@groupon.co.uk[/EMAIL] and they dealt with my request for refund for the Hollywood White packs that I paid for but never received. The money has already been credited back to me. I have to say that Groupon were very helpful.
I suggest that everyone who is fed up with waiting for Hollywood White to actually send their packs out and wishes instead to have a refund should send their request to Groupon, together with the Voucher Number(s) that your were given when your purchased the Hollywood White packs from Groupon and explain that you have contacted Hollywood White without success.
I am now waiting for Paypal to credit me with the 'next day postage' charges that I paid direc to to Hollywood White.

I too have finally received a refund from Groupon, who were indeed helpful once they actually paid attention. She told me it has been an utter nightmare for them.
it has still left a very bad taste though and no word of refunding my next day delivery charge.....wish I'd used paypal.Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0
