    hello, i have had no luck. i ordered my kit on the 29/12. i had one reply from Hollywood-White on the 6th Jan (see email below) i am waiting to hear back from group-on

    Dear Heather,
    We are sorry you have not yet received your order, however we can confirm that all orders have been despatched on time and have tried to ensure that all orders are delivered on time. We have been advised by Royal mail that although we have despatched all orders, not all have been delivered yet due to the long back log, and have received confirmation that all the remaining packages should be delivered by the end of the week. We are sorry for the delay, and are greatful for your patience, however we are trying to do all we can to ensure that you receive your order as soon as possible.

  • I ordered my kit on the 29/12, still no sign of it!
    ive had no reply from Group-on but i did get this reply from Hollywood White on the 6th Jan (see below) i will just wait for groupon to respond and get my 15 quid back. on the bright side i have had some fab deals from groupon it just seems that they got taken in by a bunch of con artists. here are the email addresses i have for them

  • I too have had the same problem from group on. I hate being frauded. But like you said I have had successful deals with groupon and I don't believe it is there fault, but if I don't get my money back then I will be on their back.

    Hi all. We've prepared a spreadsheet of escalated issues for Hollywood White customers who have not yet received their kits. We ask anyone experiencing this issue to send their full name, registered Groupon email address, voucher and security codes and order number(if possible) to mse@groupon.co.uk. We are treating these cases as a very high priority. We can assure our customers we certainly do not want anyone our of pocket for a product they have not received. We hope this helps. Thank you.

    I have done as requested but it all seems like more faffing and delaying to me, surely you have these details on your system or in the countless emails I have already sent?

  • Firstly my I personally apologise to all Hollywood White customers who have not experienced the levels of customer service that both they and I expect. Hollywood White is a family run business and we pride ourselves in our commitment to our customers, we dont always get things right the first time but we never walk away from customer complaints or issues.

    The reason why a very small amount of our customers didn't and in some cases still havent received the kits they purchased is well documented in these forums and I feel no need to restate them here.

    What is more important is how we are rectifying this issue:

    1. Anyone who notifies us of a genuine claim for non delivery is immediately dispatched a replacement kit, no quibble, an immediate dispatch.
    2. Anyone who has paid for a rapid postal delivery will have the difference between this and standard delivery refunded on request.

  • I purchased 3 kits via Groupon UK on 14th December and paid for next day delivery for each of them. I also received the standard couple of e-mails from Hollywood White blaming the weather, then the post office! They never had the courtesy to reply to me personally, nor did they try and mitigate the damage to their reputation by answering their phone to their customers and letting them know what was going on.

    The last e-mail they sent enclosed a blank form to declare a lost package from the Post office that they expected us to fill in! They have our details for goodness sake and I am pretty sure they know who has not received their goods from the amount of e-mails they get!

    I was quite surprised to see them advertising on Groupon Belgium. I would have thought that they would have preferred to clear up the mess with their orders in the UK before starting to accept more orders.

    I just want my money back and want no further dealings with Hollywood White.

    The value really isn't the point - GROUPON has a repuation to protect even if Hollywood White does not.

    I felt reassured that "Sunny" had replied to someone above...multiple emails sent an response so far....

    I have sent my details to the GROUPON address above, bt an update on what is happening with those would be appreciated.
