See the BF police came out then! I saw this thread and wondered how many posts in before someone says breastmilk won't go off or similar.

The OP might not be BF for any number of reasons, no one should have brought it up. It's amazing the number of self satisfied BF police MSE has!

OP £20 was a mighty generous offer from tesco, in your shoes I'd just have been happy to have it swapped.

Also, the OP didn't say she wasn't breastfeeding. She just said she bought formula and gave it to her daughter. You can do both after all.

I'd have swapped for the £20 and then bought shoes :rotfl:

OP, I know it must have been a shock for you, but worse is going to happen throughout her childhood. It's easy for those of us who have done it a wee while to say oh don't worry it will be fine. Not so easy for you. But really, if she was going to be ill from it, it would have happened straight away. Babies tummies are very good at rejecting bad milk, usually all over you and anything non washable that is sitting near by.

Very very true. They also do this with milk that is fine, usually when you're out somewhere and can't get changed :rotfl:

Personally I'd have taken the £20 and bought a playstation game :-)
