    Fiat 126 Actually. :p

Have to say though, when it comes to mods I've always been a fan of the wolf in sheeps clothing thing.... :D

wrong its a hillman imp well two to be honest and its powered by a jet engine hows that for a sleeper;)

allot of cars are being lowered by cutting the springs which is very dangerouse and is illegal if you get caught, if lowering is required then done properly shouldnt cause problems,
most if not all suspension makers only supply a 40 to 60 mill drop as this is the manufacturers calculations to protect other components.

Next year will see some pretty drastic alterations to laws governing car modifications, the most significant being ecu modifications being outlawed, this will affect thousands of cars on our roads if passed.

Find somewhere new and leave the kiddies in their nursery playground ;) Once saw a young lass trying to show off in McD's car park trying to get in on the game, she kept stalling her car :rotfl:

Be aware that people can find a mere gathering to be anti-social in itself (in their opinion) and I am guessing someone will have reported you all parking up and chatting and you'll have had some visits from the police on that basis. Think of it the same as having 20 rowdy chavs at your doorstep gathering there, they might not be doing anything illegal, but you probably just do not want them to be there. I am guessing you don't have these gatherings outside your house for this exact reason out of respect for the neighbours.

You could all drive down from Oakdale Business park to Man-Moel and to Cwm and park up by the quarry, or maybe you wouldn't cause any problems parked up at the far end of the overflow car park in Festival Park Ebbw Vale and could partake in some overtaking on the A4046 :rotfl:. Or there's probably other places better suited to such gatherings.

umm :D:D:D thats another story! :rotfl: ( chuckles at the memories!)

i cant remeber an instance where the police were acting on a call about us directly, but have pulled up and had a chat about whats going on etc, they quickly established we were werent there to cause annoyance that we were friendly and we befriended two traffic cops, (the pair that drove the mondeo, the ford deamonstrator we called it). we were allways gone by 10pm ish we used to move on upto pen-y-fan industrial estate where i used to work (no i wanst a happy packer :rotfl:) while the pubs and clubs kicked out our group was targeted once by drunks and a mates car was vandelised and wasnt cheap to repair being a 3.0 twin turbo supra. we still gather but not at blackwood but at car shows now, sometimes my house and the local kids love it when a few nice cars enter the street take photo's sit in them etc.

ahhh thats why formula one cars are famous for terrible handling?

or are they being fitted with landrover suspension next year?

If an F1 car ever drove on British roads it would shake itself to death within 10 miles. Its built to be driven on a perfectly smooth track and have routine suspension part changes.

I've had a car at standard, slightly lowered and then overlowered(by a garage supposedly setting it up)and over lowered made it handle like cr ap, much better when I raised it back up again-even before corner weighting.

And since when do Strathclyde police care? If they can stitch you up for something, being an easy target, that's another solved crime on the statistics that makes the city's problem with violent teenagers full of Buckie seem not quite so bad.
