Full refund on Half Price TV?
Comments

So you expect the Op to be satisfied to go to the shop with a 40" tv and walk out with a26" tv because that is what £250 will buy!
Then that is what the OP will get with their full refund
given your past experience then im sure you will happily cover the OPs costs in getting a replacement TV of similar spec.
After all,it is their right?0 -
There's no harm in asking, but OP, you are very unlikely to get a like-for-like replacement, and even more unlikely to get back £500 refund.
Is there another reduced TV with a similar spec you could get? Or you could get a normal TV, and then a Blu-ray player which has the internet TV built-in to that. Might work out a bit cheaper.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

if you find ted baker jeans for a tenner let me know lolThe company have provided a TV, they are also under contract to refund the money or repair the item should it become non functional.
They are not under contract to ensure that the buyer can obtain an item of the same specification at a higher price.
If I go into my local Ted Baker and buy a pair of jeans for a tenner which were priced at 100 pounds and then they subsequently turn out faulty, and Ted Baker have no comparable product, do you honestly think that they should then give me a 100 pounds to pop round the corner and purchase an item from their competitor?
Please let me know if you have any success, I will be out at the sales all weekend buying items which look like they have a fair chance of being unsatisfactory or breaking :rotfl:

I think the OP has got the message now and I'm pretty sure they'll keep away from here in future. So another nice job everyone, now all you need do is wait for the next one and you can all jump on them.0
