Enjoy Car Hire Algarve??

We used these in February in Faro and other than struggling to find the rental office (in the car park) we were pleased with the speed and efficiency of the agent. We had no problems with the car itself, pick up and return car with same level of fuel, leave keys and away. No excess was the main attraction and we were still looking for the catch when we returned the car but that was it. I will be using them again in the next couple of weeks so will report back.

Just returned from a week in the Algarve and had a disastrous experience with Master King car hire which were arrange for us by Enjoy car hire. We had to queue for over an hour to collect our vehicle with only one rep trying to serve about 20 people (clearly not organised when they had everyone’s arrival details and knew who to expect). Once speaking to the girl on the desk we had a further 10 minute wait for someone to bring the vehicle to the airport. When it finally arrived we were sent out onto the road to meet the other rep. She had left it at the side of the road and just handed us the keys and said no need to check the vehicle over as all the metal work was covered in the insurance. She promptly disappeared for lunch and we stupidly didn’t check the vehicle in great detail.

On returning the vehicle to the airport we were told off by the rep for being 20 minutes later than expected and she almost too quickly found a small split in the tyre wall of the car. Considering we only used the car to drive from the airport to our villa and back again we can not believe that we caused this damaged however as they had our credit card details and we had a flight to catch we were forced to pay 150 euros for the damaged tyre. This is certainly not a fair replacement value for a fiat punto tyre.

We feel completely conned by this company and really stupid for not checking the tyres more carefully at the airport. Their insurance of ‘everything covered’ gave us false security as when hiring from other companies we have always carried out a detailed check of the vehicle before driving it away. Be warned!

Just back from the Algarve on Tuesday and booked via Enjoy (again) and car from Master Kings (again).
No problems what-so-ever and the girl who took back the car at the airport was a delight to deal with - very chatty and very, very helpful.
The zero excess insurance is for the car, but excluded glass, tyres, keys/locks and I believe the interior of the car. Extra cover can be paid (€2.95 per day) to cover what's not insured.
The girl had a quick walk around the car and simply checked that the fuel was the same as when collected.
Sad that others are having problems, but 100% success so far and will be booking the same again for the end of March - fantastic rates, even if paying an additional €2.95 per day for the Super Excess Cover - there's always the 5% discount code to offset some of this.

Does anyone know what the cost is as all it says on Enjoy is payable locally? I had a look on Masterkings website and it comes up as 25euros for each type for the duration of your hire.
