Enjoy Car Hire Algarve??

The prices quoted for a 5 day hire seem very cheap and there is a 5% discount code as well. 5 days from under 40 euros for the basic model = under 8 euros per day.
Anyone have any experience with these??
The insurances seem AI with no excess - am I missing something??

We are just after a basic small car to get to Hotel and back and a bit shopping in January.

Enjoy enable you to book in lots and lots of countries and Q.26 seems a generic response. What is applicable will be the T&C's with the supplier in the country booked - Algarve is showing a zero excess for booking required (another country/agent may be different).

IDL is just to assist when abroad if needed and is not intended to replace you driving licence (which is still needed).

Car booked via Enjoy, confirmed very quickly and full confirmation quickly arrived.
As on website, zero excess has been confirmed and print offs give all that's needed.
All smoothly so far, in fact an excellent professional service - hope the pick-up and return works out the same.
I did get the company who we will pick the car up from and I have seen these before at Faro airport.

Booking stage, I would give 8/10 and that's purely down to not allowing to pay in full and in UK currency at time of booking- my personal choice, but aware it's not always possible. Might be something for the future - who knows??

Sorry to jump in late here, can I just say I used Enjoy last year for car hire at Faro Airport, it is a bit tricky to find the desk when you arrive (it is in the car park rather than in the main terminal building), but apart from that everything went very smoothly. Booking process and confirmation of a child car seat all fine, collection a bit slow but they were busy and a full Easyjet flight had just arrived. No problems upon returning the vehicle either. Just my experience.

Thank you sarah1980 for sharing your experience. We are aware you need to go to car park 4 now to pick up the car - seems to have moved on from "anywhere" after arrivals. lol
Enjoy have been coming up cheapest along with another 2 companies on some comparison sites and when fully confirmed we checked our booking with the company who will be supplying our car and it's virtually a half-price quote.
We used to book direct with TravelRent, but they have put up rates of late and are now actually much more expensive when booking direct - hence looking for a cheaper quote.
A bit like hotel bookings, cheaper normally through a 3rd party than going direct - just waiting for some Jan. sales on hotels (Thomson sometimes throw up a good deal).

Hi, I used Enjoy Car Hire in May last year and they were fantastic. Got caught up in the Ash Cloud crisis and and my flight was cancelled. :mad:
When I got home, I phoned ECH straight away and they cancelled my booking without any problems. I just lost my admin fee which was something like £10. I phoned up a few days later to say I had re-organised my flight and the very helpful chap even gave me a discount code which made the booking even cheaper than before. Anyway, eventually flew off (albeit 3 hours late) and the LagoRent representative was waiting for us in the arrivals hall with a nameboard. Superb service and returning to Portugal in May. Will definitely be booking through Enjoy Car Hire again. Hope this helps. Enjoy your holiday...:wave:

Update on recent hire.

First class service all round at a rock-bottom price.
Very friendly service from Master Kings when picking up the car - upgrade to VW Polo (5 door).
So for under 8 euros per day, a VW polo and a professional service - no complaints at all.

Many, many thanks again to Enjoy Car Hire, who also provided a first class professional service - no doubt at all where we will get our first quote from next time. A highly recommended booking agent.

I've just booked through Enjoy Car Hire and the documents have come through and we've been allocated a car through Master Kings. At first I was a bit dubious as I hadn't heard of them before and it does seem relatively cheap.

It's good to read that someone had a good experience with them.
Anyone else used them recently?
