Gift vouchers expired

The other risk you run with gift vouchers is if the company that issued them folds they can easily become monopoly money overnight that way too. I always make a point of trying to turn any vouchers I get into something useful I'd have bought anyway as soon as practical for that reason alone..... (ideally at the very next seasonal sale when you can get more for them).
OP I'd get writing a nice begging letter.... also if you have a recently deceased relative or some homeless puppies you can toss in to pull at heart strings without stretching the truth too much so much the better

Each Retailer will have different terms and conditions on them. Your Sister should have been more careful, and it's how the shops make money by 'hoping' people stick them at the back of a drawer.0
