Averaged out it's about £1/month, which is actually about seven halves of cider in pubs at some point (that'd be about 4 days out) + £5 on some booze at Xmas, this year a bottle of cheap Advocaat.

    Very precise!

I don't tend to drink in the week, unless I am going out. Most weekends I will have one bottle of wine and 1 or 2 cans of beer, so about £5 a week on that.

Go out once or twice a month with friends and spent about £10 on drink.

So probably £30-£40 or so a month.

Well at the risk of sounding like a pI55head, I buy a bottle of vodka a week and DH gets a bottle of whisky a week. So 2l of spirits a week normally drunk on Fri/Sat nights.

We normally see what's on offer and buy those.

Four or five pints of ale a night four or five nights a week so about £55/week
  • Well, I don't drink much but make loads. I've got 14 demijohns of wines made over the summer, bottled up 24 bottles Christmas eve for us and presents - and have enough in a huge bucket to refill 2 of them already. Estimated cost per demijohn is £3 per gallon, which makes between 5 and 6 bottles. These will keep us going for a few more months yet! Well, will keep the OH going for a while yet.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

Champagne/bucks fizz at xmas, beer in the summer if we have a bbq, other than that, nothing in a normal week.

Same here, we buy beer/wine if people come to stay or come for dinner but it always seems to get left

Hooray I am not alone. However, the price around here is a little higher at about £60 per week.
